Hi everyone, hope you are all OK.

Just been skimmig through to see who`s been doing what - what a mix of news for sure.

sock-knitter - I am shocked (but not surprised) at what has happened to your boys. Have you considered putting in a formal complaint to your local health authority ? It`s easy - how do I know ? ;)

Pippa S - hope things went well with your friend`s hubby.
mrs moneypenny - :T well done you with the pretty dresses and so many of them too. Don`t you dare stop posting pics, we all have that nosy gene and love seeing what`s been done. Must admit I haven`t been taking pics lately as it`s mostly been stuff for Jayden, not charity stuff, and I can`t recall when I last visited the Wooligans.

Great blogs from Mrs Twins and Knitting4heroes.

And as for you Maytaurus ...........hmmm  when it comes to finding patterns you are :A but tempting us with lots of lovely wool  ooh you are naughty.!!! Will have a look, but I`m hoping to get to the knitting show at Perth on Saturday so I will not be ordering anything before then. Might not have any pennies left after that anyway ;).If I bump into Jean, I`ll give her a hug from you all.

Off to decide what to do next - too many things to choose from that`s the trouble.

    Sleep well everyone.

    Elaine.

ps forgot to say well done Dawn for taking up the challenge.

pps - Jayden`s head was 33cm around when he was born.Seems BIG when you think 13 inches but it`s not really. The little cotton hats DD bought for him are too small already !!!!!

Thank you mrs m! Love the pillowcase dresses....talented bunny you are! Funny day here as was meant to be the work #1 but as not going ahead for now so feel at a bit of a loss so mum and I are going to go and get mum some undies!! Life of excitement as ever lol! Blanket is coming on but think it takes longer than the babette as so many more cast on/offs - or so it feels! I do love it though...will try and post piccy soon.

Safely back home -- avoided the volcanic ash again!

Well it was our first trip to Ireland and we were so impressed with the friendliness and welcome we received from the customs officer to the shopkeepers. Just lovely!!

If anyone wants a look at the pictures I will be popping them on my blog later.
Well I was brave/foolish but decided to take the woolly stuff and metal hook. No I did not hook through Rod!!!! Anyway we only took hand luggage and it all went through no probs so I manged to get some " hooking " done dure chilling time in the hotel. Dublin is very expensive but we were so happy just walking and mooching that we did it in a very reasonable way. We found a Marks and Spencers restaurant looking out over the rooftops and they had lovely meal deals on a 2 for 1. We did treat ourselves the last night but that was an Early Bird Special--- which went on all night in a converted church -- lovely

Well the main event --- Rod was just brilliant. I am absolutely useless at recognising artists in general but I have been a fan of Rod since his very first song and this show was the best we have ever seen. We even tried to get tickets the second night but all 14,000 sold out!!!! So I will tuck that visit away in the happy memory banks !!!

I did miss you all though and have just spent a while catching up with all the news!
