    Hi Hester--
If Lou doesn,t want the eyelash I would love it as it is perfect for the hedgehogs which the local hedgehog hospital buys from me which helps towards postage costs which will be especially useful this year with the blankets going here there and possibly evereywhere.
Thanks for the kind offer and making some squares I will be home on the 23rd April from Spain so I will pm anyone my address nearer to then

Had a lovely knitting meeting on Monday - thanks for the lift ISOM - so nice to get out and have a chat, really glad I did even though had to rest up yesterday. Today was all set to tackle washing up and garden prior to trip to sister's tomorrow when I found the gas boiler pilot light was out and wouldn't relight.
Friendly man has just gone having fixed it, but now am shattered again and still nothing to show for the day!
Ah well, such is (my) life. Think I'll go back to bed now and maybe try to do the washing up later.

Hi there. I've been offline for most of the afternoon and have just got back on briefly.

Elaine - what a beautiful bonny baby! You and DD must be so proud. I think he's gorgeous and would so love to be able to give him a cuddle!

Chalky - still no response from Pam, then? It's very puzzling, isn't it?

Hester - it's very kind of you to think about us with that wool. I'm sure it will find a good home with someone.

Well, life here is certainly not improving at the moment and I must confess that I am getting heartily sick of it! Why does everything take so long to do? I could go on but I won't. However, the kind offer of wigs will be much appreciated!

Well, I think I'm going to switch the computer off - again - and find somewhere else to site it. The light here is bad, and the chair keeps rolling backwards because the floor is on a slope!

Kathy this is just for you ---- but if anyone else needs a calming moment please feel free to join in !!

    big hug:)

Just to make you all smile -- I got an email from the hedgehog hospital asking for some more hedgies -- which is wonderful as I think posting all the chalky blankets will cost a few pennies BUT when I started to knit them I could not do it !!! Last year I could have done their little snouts with my eyes closed but it took a rethink this year. Got it now though and hedgies 2010 begins!!

  • Chalky -
