Hi all, DD and both DGS`s are sound asleep so Grandma is having 5 mins to herself.

Thanks for all the good wishes, they are much appreciated. Both DD and baby are doing fine. Had a visit from the midwife again today to jab his heel for the Guthrie test. DD gave me the job of holding him as she`s a softie and didn`t want to see her baby hurt. Blimey, how does she think I felt on Tues/wed when she was hurting in labour ?? (Wasn`t as bad as I thought it would be actually though.)

Well this is a bittersweet day for me. Gave Jayden an extra big hug and shed a few tears as this would have been our 19th wedding anniversary, but have been kept busy so not too much time to dwell on sadness. It`s amazing how much washing that little lad can produce. He`s a bit over ambitious with the feeding and is inclined to take too much at once ..........and then brings it back up again which means a change of clothes every time, and sometime he`s just changed when he`s sick again, so yet another change as it`s not just a little amount he brings up. Sooner he gets the hang of how much he can handle the better.

Chalky, that hat pattern is a good one. I`ve done some of them in the past in preemie size. If it`s any help to anyone, our wee man`s head measured 33.5cms when he was born and one of the `full term` size hats I`d done was too small.!!!

Kathy, you really are pushing the boat out aren`t you - a new sink and basin - settle petal, all this excitement can`t be good for you.

ISOM, re cars. I`m dreading taking mine to the garage. I`m having difficulty getting gears 1 & 2 and DS isn`t quite sure what the problem is so will have to get a `proper` mechanic to fix it. Oh dear !!

Off for a cuppa before the warriors wake up.

Hugs to all of you, hope the poorlies get well soon whether it`s you or your loved ones.

    See you soon.

    Good morning ladies.

I thought you might like to see the ami Dracular I made for DIL. Christopher Lee he's not, but you can't have everything, so I'm told.

Looks like being a nice day here, and the garden is calling rather loudly, so I guess I'd better go and sort it out, or try to.

Kathy thank you for the address. Hope you're having fun with your nephew, he sounds delightful.

    Hope you all have sunshine,
    Lots of love. xxx

morning all - just a quick one as i am taking the OH to the osteopath in a minute.

those lovely people at kemps are so nice, you have a look, tell them what you want and then show them your credit card - how easy is that, and it makes you feel better in seconds. i always feel so virtuous when i don't spend money on "myself" - the wool is all for charity projects, so its almost asif i have not spent anything - what me deluded??? no!

    have a lovely day all.

Dpixie-- Have you seen the illnesses on my blog Well I hate to tell you but in my humble opinion you are suffering from WBDD woll Buying Delusion and Denial --- but don't worry I think there are lots of others around and about here with the same symptoms and as they actually cause a general lifting of the spirits no cure is considered necessary and symptoms sometimes if not always improve if its allowed to run its natural course.

Well its Gardening Morning again -- Where do the weeks go!! SDoh has gone on his bike and I will take DMIL over later -- she is a bit frail for weeding but doing a sterling job with the hats!!!

    Kinsey Dracual is great.

Kathy Hpe you are enjoying your time with your nephew and work is going well. Anymore exciting buys -- steel wool or the like

HI Jayden -- Bet you are getting lots of lovin' Big hugs Elaine

Lots of love to one and all
