morning all, hope everyone is well. feeling tired today, and old lol. its tiring trying to keep 2 active 15 year olds busy, when they have no friends nearby, they need supervising near roads, and are easily led by local teens, and are therefore vulnerable.
this afternoon, my mum is having joshua, and i'm taking daniel to my craft group, he'll sit and thread beads, while i knit, or sew and chat to others there. sometimes i feel so isolated, and i dont know where i'd be without my friends on this thread.
dpixie, its great buying wool, when no money changes hands so to speak, especially when its for charity
mrs moneypenny, try and make time for yourself as well as catching up on all the jobs that get left over school hols, my lot go back next monday
kinsey, love the dracula, your dil will love it
pippa enjoy devon, hope the weather is as lovely there as it was last week
kathy, anything exciting to buy today?
off to go shopping on ebay now, found some socks on there to fit a size 16 last night, but wanted to check with lads what colour they wanted first. also saw some trainers in a size 20, i didnt know they made them so big, danny said order them mum, i can always grow in to them :rotfl:i'll chop his toes off if they keep growing lol
hope everyone has a lovely day, and sorry for long post

Hi everyone. Chalky and Shaz - no, I've only been buying milk and pain au chocolat, although new radiators are on tomorrow's shopping list!
Hope you are all OK? I've managed to get a few minutes spare while - hopefully - shiny new taps are being fitted to my shiny new sink! Yet again, it's been one of those days. WE just can't seem to get on; the road outside is being resurfaced which seems to involve regular visits from the Mairie, or perhaps he just likes my coffee. This morning the kitchen - which looks like a bomb has hit it -was filled with men in deep discussion about the works going on inside and out. I just keep the kettle going and dream about the day I am planning when I shall be totally on my own just crocheting! As if that will ever happen. Still, progress of sorts is being made so I shall just grit my teeth and hurry up and wait.
I'll try and catch up with you all a bit later.
Hope you are all having a great day!

Afternoon all
Just got home from work (I like Tuesdays as I finish a bit early) and found a lovely wee parcel from Anne (Pippa S) with some lovely pink wool to add to the Project Pink stash - I'm putting it all in a pink (what else) straw basket so I am so co-ordinated it looks like I'm organised.
Still deciding which pattern for the blanket to go for, and am probably going to do a large doll (more girly), although Jean Greenhowe's "Young Sweetie" would look good...decisions, decisions. Of course, it all has to remain a big secret until it's finished in case of prying eyes!
So, to all of you who have pm'd me - thank you in advance, with all your help and support it will be fabulous!!
Shaz - when are you next free? we simply MUSt catch up. Sounds like you will be ready for a rest when the boys go back to school. Also seconding what Chalky (I think) said - you are a fab Mum and doing an amazing job.
Shez - more boobs on their way to you too; are they still okay to send unstuffed? (I can get more in the parcel that way...)
Think that's all on the catch-up for now; probably be back laters once littlies are in bed!

psso go to maytaurus' post 192 for photo instructions. It is quiet on here isn't it?0

Hi all. Just taking a breather. Hope all is well?
Elaine - try Imageshack. Maytaurus put me on to it and it's foolproof, honest! You don't even have to join or regsiter. Here's the link http://imageshack.us/ You just click onto 'browse' to select the photo (I find it easier to do one at a time), then click 'upload'. When the picture comes up, look for the 'direct link' bit, highlight the writing and click 'copy'. On here, look at the icons just above the box in which you type a post - you need to click into the yellow one with what looks like a picture of a mountain in it (the second one from the right), and a line will come up for you to paste what you've copied into. Your photo should then appear as if by magic. I hope I've explained it well - it's the only way I've found that works for me! Can't wait to see a photo of the latest addition!
As for things Chez Moliere - don't ask! I'm quietly tearing my hair out and still waiting for a working kitchen sink - and I don't understand why! I am definitely never ever doing this again!
On the plus side, I should be able to sit and crochet this afternoon - maybe!
Hope you are all having a good day.
