Hi everyone. ISOM - hope you get your Babette finished soon and thanks for the tip about sewing up as you go along! It will be a while before I attempt such a big project, though, unless I practice with a cushion!
Well, bunnies are now hopping across the channel. A bit later on I shall upload a photo of them on Imageshack and post it on here. Next project will be a couple of Sunshine squares for Mrs Twins, now that I've found some proper yellow wool.
I've already been out shopping; the excitement was almost unbearable because I had to buy some grout! Still, as a reward I found a big punnet of strawberries and some lovely decadent-looking cakes at the supermarket so the shopping trip wasn't completely boring!
I hope everyone is well today and lots of (((hugs))) for those MIA or unwell.
It's been pouring with rain all night here but I can see a little peek of sunshine, so keeping fingers crossed that it will brighten up.

hi kathy, thanks for pm'ing me last night, have decided to carry on posting on here, and if my ex is stalking me thru the forums, then tough, i have a life, and if he is sad enough to follow mer on forums he needs to get a life.
feeling much better in myself today, daniel still has shingles, but is putting on a brave face :A.
been into town this morning to get josh's eyes tested for new glasses, and walkking past the wool stall, spotted some gorgeous baby alpaca wool. it was so soft when i squeezed it, and i'm sure i heard it whisper take me home, so i did, along with its friend. thats my treat for today.
going to finish of another tragedy ted today, before finishing other wips for family.
pippa, well done on finishing all those toys they are lovely
kinsey, hope your brother is feeling pain free, i have steroid injections, and they have worked a treat for me

ISOM - good luck with the Babbette - it'll all be worth it in the end! Hoping to join the knitting group 2nd Monday in April - depends on train strikes!
Shazrobo - have you a TK Maxx anywhere near you? Ours has most in the 'usual' sizes but loads more than usual at either end of the scale for clothes and shoes as well. All end of line/unsold stuff so worth popping in on a regular basis just to see what is around because nothing is reordered, when it's gone it's gone. A friend of mine gets her bras there because she is a size whereby she'd have to spend loads in usual shops; this way she gets top brands at vastly reduced prices - only thing is she has to have a look at least once a month to make sure that she doesn't miss the one that fits!0 -
Shaz - I'm so pleased you're still here with us and feeling better today; well done on being strong and determined, and you're right, he's the one with the problem. I'm so glad you've rescued what sounds like some gorgeous wool. Well done to Daniel for being brave. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Seakay - hope the strikes don't cause too many problems for you.
Well, the strawberries are delicious - I've prepped them for pudding later but I had to test one (or three) didn't I? And the cakes are almost sickly with yumminess! I still managed a whole one, though.
Well, off to clear up the lunch things then I might start a square.

Kathy, buying grout, you lucky girl, shame you had to have cakes and strawberries too though eh? Looking forward to seeing pictures of the bunnies.
Shaz, well done on rescuing the wool, hope you enjoy making something lovely with it.
Kinsey, hope you brother’s back is better with the injections.
Isom, good luck with the sewing up.
Jean, enjoy your sauna and quiet night in.
Been to see mum today, had a lovely time at Cleveleys. Sun was shining, chips on the prom and another three balls of wool to take home. What more could you ask for?
Don’t forget to put the clocks forward, and have a good evening.
Love and hugs to everyone
