yes its a pain to have to do it BUT it will stop the calls/texting. I don't think he will even be intimidated by the law. He is a predatory male in every sense of the word
If you can find some blackout lining for the curtains I can assure you it works - my DS used to have us up at 5am in the summer months, and not go to sleep much before 12pm!
I hope you have a great day with your mum, doing the knitting, having a chat, cuppa etc

Right exercises all done !!! So its a few minutes on here then a bit of contemplating about what to take on our expedition to the Sierra Nevadas. Each year DOH throws himself off mountains while I sit in the sun ( hopefully) and enjoy the scenery. Of course hands aren't still so what projects to take. Probably some hooking for the 21/2
journey there and back but I need something fairly small to take up and down in the cable car. One year I looked like a complete bag lady -- not a pretty sight. So it takes some thinking about as it is 2 full days!!

Well lovely to hear from you psso What a lot of work. Dear little one will be here before you know it. I can fully understand how hard things are when special celebrations pop up. Gentle thoughts x

Baby Salome (next door) loved the practice Taggie and her Mum and Dad were really pleased so that is lovely

evening all, thanks jean for finding the link for o2, i shall ring them first thing in the morning, as i do need my mobile on whilst kids are at school, today its been turned off, and i've felt calmer because of it.
thanks also for the suggestion from jean and kathy for the blackout curtains, have tried them when the boys were younger, and i must admit they didnt work then, but they may now that they are older. can feel a curtain shopping trip coming on
chalky, thanks for the easter links, will add them to the ever growing list of things to do.
started knitting daniels sock this afternoon, and after a few inches dropped 2 stitches, and because they are so small i couldnt pick them up, so had to pull out my work, put me off knitting tonight, think i'm tired, and need an early night.

Shaz id agree wth trying curtain linings - they helped with my eldest 2 who thought because it was light they and therefore i HAD to be up.

been knitting little bags to put mini eggs in over the weekend and last night while 24 was on i started knitting a little handbag - stuff for the easter fayre if it looks ok when im done.
Will get sewing machine out again as i have a nice piece of fabric someone on LH sent me that i can make into bags for the bags of love appeal.

Its lovely to see you popping back in again Orkney Star

Have fun watching peole threw themselves off mountains Chalky.

Shaz you need a thin crochet hook to pick up stiches, can't be doing with having to pull good knitting out. You could get one when you're shopping for curtains :)

thanks kinsey, the crochet hook sounds like a good idea, i hate unpulling knitting, luckily i dont drop stitches too often

off back out now to brave the cold again, have a gp appointment at 9.30, have got a lump which is red and swollen, have taken anti biotics for the last week, but its still there and very painful, so i shall see what they say this time.

    hugs
