Mrs Moneypenny - if you have either a chinese supermarket or an asian shop they sell rice in huge bags, by far the cheapest way to fill the door stops - use just a little piece of the white toy stuffing in the very top (up by the eyes). I did mean to tell you this on a quick letter and then promptly forgot!
still clearing up in the new workroom, but I just know I will be in there for good tomorrow. I have even sorted out curtains so it will be stunning when its all finished. The Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

Thanks for the welcome back, Mrs Moneypenny!
Jean - the workroom sounds great. Please, please don't forget to post photos because I am so nosey!
Well, my fragile internet connection seems to be holding at the moment, so I hope I've cracked it now! Will have to keep checking it, though. Orange said the fault may be with my computer but I've rebooted the Livebox and that - fingers crossed - seems to have done the trick! I really don't think it's the computer at all.
Anyway, have a great evening, everyone.

Chalky - were we twins? I found the SEWING ROOM on MSE today and saw taggies - hadn't a clue what they were so had a hunt on the internet to find them, I don't have a great haberdashery shop here in France, so put it on list of jobs to do. Then blow me down, visited your blog to catch up and YOU HAVE MADE ONE, ok so you're not too happy with it, but it looks gorgeous and easy to sort too.
Perhaps photo's tomorrow, when I can make the room a bit more presentable - not just a big heap of boxes and bags of STASH materialsThe Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

Jean - have a look in your yellow pages for a shop called La Tissuterie. We have one near us and it's the most fantastic haberdashery shop I've EVER found. They are a chain so there may be one near you. For some reason, they don't sell knitting wool but I'm going to suggest that they do! You wouldn't believe the different fabrics they sell - you'd be in heaven!
Well, I've had a shower and I'm just about to settle down to do another square - I've nearly used up all my oddments on them.
My internet connection has stayed ON all afternoon so I think I'm definitely back up and running now.
Have a great evening, everyone.
