In the Night Garden - not too sure if there are any freebie out there as the BBC got a bit funny about the characters and unlicenced patterns (like the Doctor Who thing a while back)

Might be worth a search on the individual characters -
Iggle Piggle (he's the blue one attached to a red blanket)
Upsy daisy (the girl who thinks she can sing!)
Makka Pakka (odd looking brown one, obsessed with washing things)
The Tombliboos (3 of them, live in a bush, striped trousers....v cute)

    quick search on ravelry brought up;
    crochet Makka Pakka -- http://luckynumbered.blogspot.com/2009/05/makka-pakka.html

and this for more of the Night Garden, but the booklet is now out of print (so doesn't really help!) http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/in-the-night-garden-5-dolls-knitting-patterns

My excuse - I have a 5 year old (who is so over ITNG now) and a 17 month old!

    CBeebies rocks....

    d xx

    Afternoon all
Just a quick one from me today,
DS1 will be here later, not sure what time though, he said late afternoon so it probably wont be for ages yet.;)

    Question/Request
I've printed the rotated log cabin chart off, and just wondered if there is a crochet version anywhere, I fancy having a go at one :)

Enjoy your day's all whatever you are doing

This is what I would have liked to have made into a baby blanket - but it was taking far too much concentration!

Hope that your cold is getting better and that everything is working out still with your new lodger

No update from me this week - not been able to do any knitting but hopefully will soon.
Been a bit tired but lovely to know that I can look in on this thread at any time and catch up with what is beginning to feel like a sort of extended family. I'm so glad that no one has pointed out that quite a large percentage of what we post about has nothing to do with knitting or charity work, because as long as it doesn't put off new people from joining in I think that it is great that we can start from one point of common interest and branch out into all sorts of elements of our everyday lives, as if and when we want to.

Seakay, I think any other "normal" forum would have banned us all ages ago for being OFF TOPIC, surely that's what makes it unique, we just all "get it all out" including a bit of knitting/crochet/sewing charity work, good stuff, bad stuff, help, assistance etc. I know that's what makes it work for me.

  • F1 - yes it was done on the machine, I WILL do a proper blanket with it - when I get my brains back and have time to pay attention.
SHAZROBO - hope Blackpool is lovely, regardless of the weather, oh can you eat a stick of pink/white rock just for me, BUT don't what ever you do tell me about it or I will be drooling for weeks!
MAYTAURUS I keep forgeting to say - well done with the DOC at the hospital, wonders will never cease, perhaps your own quack once he gets a rocket up his B%*, will actually do something constructive for a change, fingers crossed.
