Goodmorning, well the lights are on - but is ANYONE at home? Maytaurus, great post except for the chocolate coffee creams at the end of it- you sausage, I will be forced to go and dip the ones I made in chocolate and eat them for breakfast now.
Planning another baby blanket today using knitting machine and quite a few colours. Then I really must get on with the socks which were last weeks homework. As its snowing I will not be attempting to reach the machine lady. BUT she sent an email asking for evidence of my work over the past week - failing miserably here by the minute. Best go and get a coffee (or a chocolate) and get stuck in today.
Wishing you all a lovely day whatever you get up to may it be a happy one

Good morning!
I didn't get much time on the computer yesterday so have just spent half an hour catching up on all the posts. There is some lovely work going on at the momentI love seeing & reading about it all.
I also love thinking that when I am sat knitting or crocheting in the afternoons/evenings that you are all invariably doing the same. It's a lovely sense of community.
Lorna Big hugs & well done for finally finding a dentist.
ISOM Did you have a lovely time with Weezl & Fergus the other day?
Jean I'm drooling at the thought of you dipping sweets in choccie!
May I'd also help with the decluttering - I love doing it!
Seakay Hope the hands are soon better. My best friend has fibro so I understand where you're coming from as it were.
Blackcrow Big hugs for your Dad.
Pippa S Loving the boobs in blues!
My plans for today are to clean and do some ironing this morning then sit down with the hook this afternoon. DH is treating us to a takeaway tonight for tea so I'll have no prep to do there.
The children all finish for half term today so I'll be having a weekend of baking to prepare for the onslaught. I've also menu planned their lunches so I know they're eating something decent & not the usual crisps and biscuits if left to their own devices!and love to everyone today xxxxx

Hi
May.... You made me smile so much with that poster of the Rottie. I've saved it. Wonderful.
Sat here with hair dye on my head at the moment. Will go and take it off in a minute.
No knitting or crochet done yesterday :-( Shame on me. Must get a move on with some today, hopefully.
Have a blessed and prosperous day today and hugs to all in need (((((hugs)))) Love you all.

morning everyone
sorry to here about your dad blackcrow, (((hugs)))
lcwilson, i remember one of my sons climbing out of his cot at 18 months old, and banging his mouth on the top piece of wood, and knocked a tooth clean out, luckily we were registered with a dentist, glad your friend found a nice dentist to help the little lad
coffee creams, might just have to pop into thortons this afternoon while i'm in town
my sons finish this lunchtime for half term too, normally i'd be out shopping stocking up, but we're going away on monday, so saved that job lol
getting kids to pack their own clothes this afternoon, in return for a meal at the local carvery, so saved another job
so todays plan, is to iron a few bits that need doing for hols, then knitting, then this afternoon trip to town, and my craft group, where i shall do more knitting. then this evening, as i've no meal to prepare, more knitting, sounds like a good plan to me :j
hugs to all that want or need one

mrs m - oh snap - Ive just created a greek costume for the "Greek Olympics" tommorow (only trouble is when I looked it up on internet many greeks wore nothing but oil:D imagine the Heads look if DS came in true greek dress - oh arnt i wicked .......) - so mine was white sheet for tabbard - gold large chain belt (charity shop!) - and headband - complete with greek patterns round bottom of tabbard
Mrs Moneypenny - could you just sprinkle some talc onto some trousers and a shirt - in the hope that you could wash it all off after? Just a thought, rather than cut up good clothes.
i managed to get the costume done this morning luckily a friend has a son a year older than mine and she gave me all his uniform when he left, i ripped and cut a pair of trousers a school shirt and a navy zip-up top (they were well worn so were the emergency spare set) so hes a zombie school boy- the shirt has a mix of red hair mousse and black food colouring splattered over the front ad ive spiked his hair up. The school are doing the face paint this afternoon DS said something about the dance being videoed and put on the internet (i think he means the school web page). i laughed at the throught of your son arriving in a genuine greek costume - the heads face would have been a picture
i'm glad to hear your DS is hapeir and sleeping betterSPC~12 ot 124
