ooo I just got back from visiting the Mums and wanted to wish Kathy
'Bon Voyage' but it looks like I am too late ......sorry Kathy:o hope you had a safe journey, and have a lovely time with all your family and friends:)

chalky - I saw my friend Jo earlier and she has started knitting squares, only garter stitch and moss stitch as she is'nt very experienced, but is really keen, she said "I hope they are ok".." course they are" I said, "anything is welcome" I have done a few hearts and flowers to put on them to liven them up a bit she is over the moon with them.We left her this PM knitting away happily.

f1 - I think your doctor is just what is needed, it sounds like DS liked him too, its good when they have confidence and trust in someone, as well as Mum x

awww shaz (((hugs))) you really are going throught it at the moment. Glad to hear how well Daniel is doing, you must be so proud of him.

Night with my knitting planned for tonight, nearly finished an owl, my sister bought me a book on knitted toys called 'the knitted Odd Bod Bunch' they are a bit odd!!! but will see how they turn out ;)

Must go Pizza is almost ready
    See you all tomorrow

Hi everyone--- Hope you have had good days with lots of creative stuff going on.
I am going to have to go back to the puppies as I have lost my hook --- AGAIN!!!
Serves me right !! Deviation does not pay
I did get over the frustration by knitting a boob and toy for Loving Hands though!

Well I hope Kathy has an uneventful journey with no stoppages at customs!!! Enough wool to raise suspicions methinks

Shaz What lovely news of Daniel -- Brilliant news. Keep focused on that and not the other sad person who is going to miss you I am sure.

Pippa Lovely news of squares .I get a lovely warm feeling when I think of them!

ISOM Hope your house is smelling lovely !
Well lots of gentle thoughts to all
    Love Linda

Well, I've just had another short break at the hospital for a couple of days :rotfl::eek::rotfl:
DS1 called the ambulance @ 4 in the morning when I ended up lying on the floor like a rag doll & off I went again, evidently BP had dropped really low 60/54, don’t know why, but I feel a lot better now, so I’m just catching up with you all

Sorry you’re feeling a tad battered ..... hope you’re feeling a bit better

re ‘he had so peacefully passed away in his sleep. Of course what a shock for his wife, we have had a bit of a sad day but what it does is really make you realise you must make the most of every moment and NEVER go bed cross!’
Sorry to hear about your neighbour, as you say Linda ... a terrible shock for his wife, but at least she will have the comfort of knowing that he didn’t suffer a cruel lingering death
As Lorna says, ‘No matter how poorly they have been it still comes as an awful shock.’

Hope your mum is recovering well after her op
I hope your uncle is ok,... is your aunt on medication, as you can ask the doctor about it if not, they’ll be able to give her something to calm her down & stop her from getting so physically violent, although I think the things they sometimes say are also very hurtful
Give him a big hug from me and tell him to take care of himself, as he won’t be able to do what he wants for his wife if he gets ill

    morning everyone,
maytaurus, sorry to hear you've been in hospital, but really glad to hear your feeling much better now (((hugs)))
i was naughty again last night, and went shopping on ebay:o, bought the two sirdar early arrivals books that i didnt have, plus some baby 4ply for the premmie cardigans.
also treated myself to another pair of ugg boots, they are so comfy and warm, and even with my insoles from the hospital, (i have one leg longer than other, as well as other foot and joint problems) they are still comfy, everything else just seems so tight with them in.
shopping day today with my friend, and my sons, then an evening of knitting planned:T

    shaz xxx
enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)

    Good Morning one and all
Bet Kathy is enjoying herself already --- Just as well the wool shope are shut on Sundays!!

May Sorry you have been in hospital again and hope you are soon feeling stronger. Thanks for lovely post- as always

Shaz - So glad your Ugg boots are so cosy my DDS live in theirs

Well you have all missed coffee -- I lined all the cups up ready but never mind. Sun is shining so we are just off for our "heads, shoulders, knees and toes"etc. Think we might take the chairs and Sudoko ( For Doh) and wool for me and have an hour on the beach first.

I made 1 boob and a toy (square ones of last years pattern) but it looks distinctly Chinese!!

Have good days everyone and I will pop back later to read everybody's news--- Still have not found the blessed hook -- I think 1 of the puppies is hiding it!
Try and do a good deed every day.
