Hi ladies - just a quickie before school - thanks so much for your concern over feeling blurgh - Ive felt like it on and off before - Doctor has scratched their head over this one - wondering whether its to do with arthritis ????(am due an appt with rhuematologist just waiting) - my mum calls me a walking medical mystery :D but I should not complain - I have DH & DS - my family - and you lot xxxxxxxx (needles and wool tee hee)

Oh thanks for asking about DS - touch some wood he seems to be ok - we have had a few nights of worry over little things and not sleeping - school and I are still rumbling though (over an hour phone call with Headmistress earlier in week grrrrrr) - took DS to Dr about his stomach prob and he was just an absolute saint spent a good 15 minutes chatting to him about sleeping and school infact allsorts and ended by saying always try and tell Mum & Dad but you can always come and talk with Mum to me (he then gave his sincere sympathies over the bullying and asked me to bring him back in a couple of weeks) WOW good doctor - DS said well he believed me not like school

Another Bunting on the needles last night so gonna do surface damage round house and then sit down and do bunting catch up on all the recordings I have b4 the weekend.

kathy - squares are so pretty and fantastic xxx when you step on British soil give a big wave to all of us xxx will you be able to be online - we shall miss you if not but look forward to all your news when you get back ???
sunnygirl -its so nice to hear Mum is doing so well and you are a good D for helping her xxx
shaz - still thinking of you and hoping you are feeling brighter - big hug xxx
isom - hope you get on ok at hospital - let us know xxx

I thought of someone last night we have not seen lately welshpoppy - I wondered whether my needle sizer came in useful - hope it did - and if your lurking big hugs

Actually a big  to all that are lurking xxxx

Hope you all have a good day what ever you are doing - hugs and love to everyone especially those that are low or poorly xxx Jaqui xxx

F1Widow - I don't have my own laptop to take with me, but I will be logging on from various other people's computers while I'm away, so I pop in here as often as I can. I don't think I could stand ten days without contact with you all! Doctor sounds terrific - so reassuring for your DS to have a sympathetic ear compared to the school. He sounds like a lovely lad.

Thanks for all the comments about my squares. I'm really enjoying doing them - choosing the patterns and the colours, knowing they are for good causes, and stash-busting at the same time.

Well, I'd better go and do some packing! Thanks for all the good wishes for my trip, too; much appreciated!

ISOM good luck at the hospital, have you taken something to do while you wait?

Kathy what a good idea the wristband is, I shall blatantly steal that. I'm wearing a red jumper today. Have a good journey tomorrow.

f1widow what a nice doctor you have. So pleased to hear DS is getting along better, school still needs sorting out though. As someone said, I would have thought other mother's would have got together with you by now, your DS can't be the only one suffering.

Always poor useful link, thanks for that.

    love to everyone xxx

What a trip yesterday rained all the way there, caught behind every tractor in Brittany not to mention the folk that haven't yet worked out how to make the indicators work, as for the men trying to drive in my boot (French men always love to be right on your tail) they obviously wanted one of my sweeties! Anyway, I didn't get in trouble and I stayed a lot later than I had intended, so came home in even more pouring rain and pitch dark - mostly on little roads - and they don't have cats eyes in France. If your lucky you get a white line but don't bet on it! It was machine knitted socks...........ARGHH, so today I will attemp some baby booties which will be smaller and easier (I hope) using all the techniques, will let you know if I succeed.
Enough, I digress, today I am wearing a bright red polo neck, with a bright red fleece body warmer and guess what - MY EYES MATCH! Ha ha.
One sleepy to go, Kathy, have pm'd you. Please can you all be gentle with me when I am doing the figures on behalf of Kathy? Oh and don't expect them to be done first thing on a Monday morning, I don't function properly untill the third cup of coffee.
hope you're all having a great day, sun is here but its cold. Off to catch up with the forum posts then I may have to do a bit of baking for the weekend.

Thanks for the link Always Poor - got halfway through and thought I had to ask a question re: hats - the information says they need egg size hats - oh my - is that about the same circumference as an IS hat do you think???? - how sad - makes me think that a lot of the hats ive knitted must be huge then - who would have thought they need that size so....

shezmit - have you ever been asked for this size and if not do you want us to do some ???? - if so let us know what you think on size

That article was so interesting - had not even thought of colours - had often wondered whether some mums would want some strong colours never did any though as thought it might offend - off to finish reading it
