Shaz Sorry it's so painful for you. Massive hugs xxxxx

Shezmit I shall parcel up and send you what I've done so far so it can get on it's merry way to the hospitals. I shall concentrate on cardies & vent bonnets for now.

My sister in law is coming soon and we're going to have lunch then go for a mooch into town as I want of the 3 for £10 meat from M&S. I usually get whole chickens, bacon and the ever favourite mince on this offer :rotfl: so may try something different for a change!

Then home to the knitting and crochet :T

Edited to add: Chalky I have several 6" knitted squares that I did for the memory blanket before I decided to crochet them instead. Are they any use to you if I put a crochet border on to make them up to 8"? I didn't want to start without checking first.

snowinfranceinjanuary20.jpgUnexpected snow falling first thing this morning......

snowinfranceinjanuary20.jpg.......and what it looked like by late morning ..........
snowinfranceinjanuary20.jpg ......and what it looks like now. The sun is blazing away in a beautiful blue sky and it's really warm; in fact warmer outside than in! I don't think it will last but it's been a day for looking out of the window and gazing at the view. Sadly, it's melting too fast to make a snowman.

  • I have been asked to mend a blanket for a colleagues 3 year old son, who is devastated because it has such a huge hole in it. There is a pic on my blog, I'm hoping to repair it this evening.
I'm still adding to the pile of squares, probably a couple of dozen done now.
    Hugs to those in need.

Hester - that's a bit of a challenge but worth it as it means so much to a little boy. Hope your DH is feeling less sore now!

    Anyone for Tea!!!
Just thought I would show you the final tea time collection. More pictures on my blog if you fancy ( no pun intended!) a look!
I have decided to make a drawstring bag to put them in add a purse and some pretend money and give them to my dear little Great Nephew so that he can have a pretend cake shop to play with. His mummy used to love playing shopping whenb she was at my Mums!!
If you look carefully at some of the fancy cakes the icing is made with a little Christmas special ruffle pattern !!

Kathy -- I think the first picture would make a lovely Christmas Card scene for you cards next year.
Shaz and anyone else spitting feathers hope things calm down soon!!!
Well just doing the outside border of the next Lapacuddlyghan and then onto puppies!!!
Try and do a good deed every day.
