Hi all.
Pippa - are you sure that isn't your spare room? What a lovely shop. Your photo has made me wonder what other peoples' local wool shops are like! I'll try and remember to take a piccie of mine when I go back to the UK in January. In our one snooty wool shop/posh boutique here, I think I would get thrown out if I took a photo!
Everyone - because I am nosey, it would be great to see photos of your local wool shops!
Pippa - I would NEVER let DH near my hair with a pair of scissors! He does colour it for me, and does a really good job at hiding the grey bits for a few weeks! He's far more patient that I am and takes his time, whereas I do it in too much of a hurry and miss bits out!
Maytaurus - love the description of Louis as the golden tum boy! Thanks for the great links, by the way. I fancy making a bandana for Louis - if he'll wear it long enough for a photo to be taken!
Well, it hasn't got above freezing here today. I wasn't planning on going out at all, but some of the halogen bulbs went in the kitchen and I didn't fancy cooking in the dark, so I had to go out in the end. I will definitely try and stay in tomorrow and keep warm.
Hope you are all having a good day.

Browsing this thread. Trying to get the hang of crochet but haven't had a lot of time and felt very overwhelmed by it (not the stitches, more buidling them up and adding together ). Some really lovely stuff in here! i can tell once I get up and running, there will be no stopping me.
Keep up the good work ladies (and gents?!)A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Kinsey - that's a lovely pattern, too. I shall try and make that for Summer - she loves soft toys at the moment! Thanks!
Zippychick - good luck with the crochet and, don't forget, you can ask any questions on here if you get stuck!
