Chalky, you are going to have to STOP posting such lovely photographs on your blog...I nearly cried when I saw the bourgainvillea, reminded me of the huge one we took to the UK when we moved back from Italy, which unfortunately didn't survive its first Scottish winter although it was in the hothouse. Like you I seem to spend a lot of time visiting blogs - note to self - spend more time crafting less time on line but thank you for those gorgeous glimpses of Spain.
PAM/PAMSPAL lovely to know that you and your dear friend pamspal are both keeping OK,missed you for a wee while there.
Away to do some serious sit down knitting

-- YOur post made me so happy. Thank you so much for having a look and I am so glad you enjoyed having a little look at life near here. It is so heartwarming when other people gain pleasure as well. I love Bourgainvilea too and next year when we " do " the back terrace I am going to plant one-- Can't wait !!

My DSIL has moved to Near Aberdeen and despairs about her garden as it is soooo cold there

    Right must get hooking
    Thanks again. Linda

Awww thanks for all the nice comments on my "stuff" :o

The hot pink is for my friend who loves pink with a kick  and the limey one is for my DSIL, one of these days I will get round to doing one for me ;)

Kathy - The wheelchair wrap was from a link Pam posted a while ago. Have you got the pattern? if not, I will e'mail it to you if you like, its the converted one.

Chalky and k2tog - Yes it was the Caron Ruffle scarf of Kathy's she has posted the link for you a few replies back. I did 100 ch and they both worked out at 39.5" I did quite a loose chain to start and used a 6mm hook (should be 6.5mm)

Hi Pam  nice to see you back :D Yes I love the wrap, and mum will love it too, its one of her Christmas presents. You're right it is better after the first row, I am enjoying doing it, and if I go off and do something else I can pick it up and just carry on don't need to keep reffering to the pattern. I know what you mean about long needles I find them so arkward to knit with and they make my hand's and wrist's ache, OH shortens them for me.

Chalky oooo clever you :T looks great does'nt it???

Off to watch TV and pick up crochet for a bit now

Blimey Chalky, you're a fast hooker! I haven't touched the hooking tonight as have been distracted by looking at mortgage deals and boring stuff like that. Must do better, particularly as I just don't feel properly relaxed if I haven't done some needle or hook work before bedtime - must get out more!

    Hi, girls

just a quick question re Ruffly scarf - are you using DK wool + 5mm hook?

As it seems so quick I might change my plans for xmas boxes as I'm running out of time now :rotfl:

    luv
