I've just moved from parental home to my own flat and I've had such a dilemma about what to do with my old school books! I found about 20 and I've brought them with me. I don't really want to keep them all but I think maybe one or two to let me reminice (sp?) about school days and to show any children I may have in the future? But it would be hard to get rid of them!
I didn't end up doing much today, had a horrendous headache again. If anyone knows of anything to help tension headaches please let me know. Feel a bit better after a nap. I put my laundry away, made lunch and read my book, that's all.
I'm off to cinema tonight with friends to see Fame. It's Orange Wednesday so cheap

Try rubbing a little lavender oil onto your temples. If it doesn't work, at least you'll be a little more relaxed and smelling lovely!0 -

For headaches, I use White Flower Embrocation, which is a Chinese remedy, aka Pak Fah Yeow. It even helps with migraines! HTHIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hugs to Bargainbird and family,...
and also Pink, why not have a moan, most of us do from time to time, don't we? Hope your DD is feeling better very soon, and you too. Nice to know the OSers made you feel better too.xxx
Just waiting for tea to finish cooking,we're having turkey, leek and ham pie with roasties.I'm making extra spuds, and I'll freeze the leftovers- I got a big bag from Aldi. Can't often be bothered but DH does like a roast spud now & then.
I had hm chicken & barley broth for lunch.I made it yesterday, and was putting some of that in the freezer too last night, sliding it in when the lid came off, tried to catch it and the whole 2 tubs fell out. Luckily one landed right side up so I saved that and put it back in-the rest,I scooped up what I could, and labelled it for the dog to have with his dinner. He (dog )took care of the rest (not seen him move so quick for ages :rotfl:)
Right better go,hope everyone else is doing ok.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Ah shucks:o:o:o
Meant every word I said.
Tea in roasties and savoury mince(quorn)-dead simple so not much standing.
Tonight will be reading the rest of today's thread and doing some searching for inspiration for simple (ie not much standing rather than easy to do) meal ideas.
Hope everyone is ok.
piink loads of hugs.
Be back to mither/bore/bother you all later.

Tupperware chorizo was yummy. Not exactly like chorizo sausage, best described as chorizo flavoured pork;)0
