I printed off a copy earlier, just came back to get another one, but says it's finished?
Has anyone got a copy saved they could send me?
Thanks! :rolleyes:0 -
Can't use it today or tomorrow as they are having 20% day. My link still works

My mum then tried to buy an item for £4.99 (Christmas shortbread tin) and the girl was a little bit stroppy and said "you can only use them for Linea products, it should read House of Fraser own brands". This is definitley not true but i tried to stand my ground for a bit but she seemed very annoyed and i walked away. (jealousy that Staff can't use them probably).
how rude..seriously, i never stick up for myself but im thinking of starting a protest group!!:D0 -
just been to mine...
said they had ran out of gift cards but if I want anything then just to exchange the voucher for the purchase...so got a nice plastic addidas food box!!0 -
I went to the Oxford Street one earlier & had no problem - all the staff were friendly, gave me the card without a problem & I successfully received the sale discount too (Thurs 1st & Fri 2nd have up to 25% off many items).
I looked round & chose a (for me, vegan) burger-maker gadget, complete with 100 wax discs (which stop the mix sticking to the mould), for £6. It had 10% off, so I was charged 40p.
On the way in & out of the department another staff member gave me a pack of Jelly Belly samples, so maybe she sussed I like freebies

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need a PDF reader that will operate inside your internet browser - I use Foxit Reader (which is free) - as my voucher appeared as a mini PDF page within the main webpage.

I'm not sure how anyone else feels about this but I'm not totally comfortable with the idea of people "scamming" offers like this and applying for them several times. In my experience this just results in the offer being closed down sooner than would normally occur plus lessens the chance of such an offer ever being made again.
Given the current recession and the fact that many businesses are struggling (which I'm sure is why we are getting so many offers at the moment as they are trying to attract business to stay afloat), I do not think this is fair to either your fellow moneysavers or to the company. So please give this some thought and don't be greedy!2020 Wins:

The offers closed now anyway. Only those people who have already downloaded their voucher from the guardian will be able to exchange it for a gift card at HofF. Some updated information about this has been posted on the website.
I appreciate many businesses are struggling at the moment but so are many families. I personally feel the bottom line is the people at the very very top of the corporation should take less out of the company and that more of the money should be passed on to the staff on a lowly minimum wage and the customer of course. But hey, that's just my view.
If HofF are giving out free £5 gift vouchers, I'm going get a few, why not? It's not illegal.0 -
