Morning everyone
Budgets done up to and including ToriD29 - I keep a note of them and then post them nearer the end of the month so that they can be picked up by Pink and put on the new thread
ToriD29 - Hi and welcome, check out the great recipes on page 1 if you need any inspiration and feel free to ask for any help or if you have any questions, there are lovely people on here who will help out in a flash.
Off to do some cleaning now so will catch up later

Just come to update my total for the month - there have been two small shopping trips, one where I had to buy a birthday present for a girl in my DD10's class, so picked up a few bits as well, and then there was the trip when I had to nip in for bread, and of course that wasn't all I got then, either. Reassuring to see that I still have £100 in the budget as we have half-term to get through and the DDs seem to eat more when they are home all day! Hoping for nicer weather next week as we are away for two nights.December GC: £3500

Hi everyone,
Haven't posted for a while, but just came on to declare my Oct GC at £425.71 which is £25.71 over budget unfortunately. Seemed to be ticking along nicely and then last weekend managed to spend just shy of £50 in MrS on not very much.
I'd like to try for £400 again in November please.
Right, off to read up on posts I've missed.
Have a good day everyone.

Updating my spend for October to €122.32, have a visitor for weekend who is definitely a carnivore so that will run costs up a bit!
Good luck to all

I'm a bit disappointed because after doing so well and only spending £311 last month, I've already almost blown my budget for this month. There's still money available in the bank account, but I want to keep within budget for groceries if I can and it would be fantastic if there was a little money left at the end of the month that could go towards paying off our debts, or into DS's trust fund or something.
Anyway, recent spends:
15/10 - £6.34 in Holland & Barrett
16/10 - £21.60 on prescription items (I'm still saving up for a yearly pre-paid thingy)
19/10 - £31.23 in the Co-op (higher than I intended but they had offers on things I needed so bought more)
We also spent £5.24 on Halloween sweets/balloons etc. yesterday but I'm taking that out of the birthdays/holidays/Christmas fund instead.I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

Did post a message earlier but it seems to have disappeared
Anyway Helen can you put me down for £160 for November please?
Many thanks0 -
I need to get back into doing this. I did so well before. Can you put me down for £250 for November please.
I've got a fair bit of meat in the freezer, else i'd say more.
Thanks

Just updated my spreadsheet (and signature) with all spends since 13th - been a bit slack about keeping them up-to-date, but confident I had all my receipts to hand (though I had to dig for one I knew I should have somewhere
)
Spent just under £12 from 14th-20th inclusive, which has included a fair chunk on items from our C00p - they're busy reducing things to half-price a department at a time, prior to closing down on 31st.
My biggest spend this last week has been from a different budget - I've spent £22.85 on £46.73 of cleaning products from the C00p sale. I'm now well stocked on washing powder (bought 9 bags), all purpose cleaner (bought 16 bottles), and toilet cleaner (bought 9 bottles) for next year, and probably heading into 2011 as wellThey're all the ecological ones I make an effort to use, so I'm really pleased with this :T Also bought 1 bottle each of washing up liquid and cream cleaner, which are again the ecological ones - would have bought more but that was all they had.......
