Hi Doodle! Welcome to the forum
As you can see I'm January 2012 too, are we date twins or haven't you quite decided as yet what day it will be if you can do it that month???
This week I have ordered the patterns for my flowergirl dresses and have been looking at material - was quoted £3.20 per metre for one and £6 per metre for the other but have found it online for £2.40 per metre and £4.50 per metre. Shocking that I'm not going to be supporting a local business but I have to think of my pocket and the tight budget too.....
Just got to get it ordered now and STOP changing my colour scheme!!!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

We're probably gonna go for the 28th January. We're having a small registry office service then a big party in the evening, they only take bookings 12 months in advance though so got a bit of a wait till I can book it:(0 -
Hi all - joining you for the first time.
Got engaged in 2001 and as a PP has said life/kids/money has got in the way of us doing anything about it!. Looking to get married in Oct 2012 (as need to save up) thinking 20th at mo as would tie in with our honeymoon plans/school hols (have a little boy who will be in first year of infants by then). Not booked venue yet as I'm getting married in my hometown of Wrexham and I now live in West Yorkshire so its getting the time to go and look at places (internet can only show you so much can't it?). Have an idea of where I want to have it but actually want to check it out properly. The hotel is holding a wedding fayre in Oct this year so going down for that - hope it's all really nice.
Have been reading a loads of threads on here and been getting some excellent ideas from everyone - so much so I want to start making bouquets and favours already!! lol

hay there nic noc!
im across the border in north shropshire, only 13 or so miles from you, where were you thinking of going?
ive trawled and trawled the internet to find our venue which is in chester but before that id looked at hundreds(on internet) in shrops and the surrounding areas but they were either too small or too pricey or not pretty enough!(i love that big church in wrexham, down from island green but were not religious so not having a church!)
i just bit the bullet one day, told the venue what we wanted, what our budget was could they do anything? and they have given us a big discount to get to our budgetI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
hi bubbles
im not havin a church ceremony either as im not that religious either, plus it can be quite pricey!! (as my SIL would confirm) you're thinking of St Giles Parish Church in Wrexham.
I am looking at the Wynnstay Hotel in the centre of Wrexham, not in any grounds or anything - just smack dab in the middle of the town centre - its just been taken over this July by new owner who have bought practically all the hotels in Llangollen and done them all out and is trying to do the same with this one - she actually had a TV prog on BBC Wales called Hotel Stephanie (dont know if you heard of it - my m+d told about it)...anyways i digress! I'm not that bothered about outdoor shots coz i'm guessing the weather in October will be hit and miss anyways, so am REALLY hoping they have some nice features or something inside where we could have the wedding photos...i'm wishing it was October already as i'm dying to go and have a look round - i hate waiting!!!! LOL
have you set a date yet?0 -
hi yeah we have, its in september 2012, yeah i know the hotels your on about, we were goin to look at some others that shes done too but i fell in love with mine first
im sure they will have amazing places for photo opps let us know how you get on xI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
Hi everyone
I am from Portugal and I married in 2011, look for a wedding dress of Pnina Tornai (there isn´t in Portugal) and how it is very expensive, I'd like to know if you know the Landy Bridal, i´m afraid that tissues are bad.
Know anyone here in the forum that has a dress Pnina Tornai Style by landy bridal?
Pnina dresses are very full and very wheel (not sure if this is the right expression in English, sorry).
sorry my english
