I am indeed! Looking at August/September, which gives us time to save up a bit!

Do you have any dates/months/seasons in mind, or will it depend on what venues can offer?

Just remembered, I have been looking at this website: http://www.civilvenuesuk.com
Not the most user-friendly site in the world, but worth a look :)
:heart::heart: Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012 :heart::heart:

I have all mine done, wrapped, and some of it delivered!!! Sad I know!! Just got a couple of things to arrive this week and they will be wrapped as soon as they appear and out for delivery aswell!!!

I had a nightmare today (during the nighshift sleep) that my wedding day was here. My dress hadn't been altered and the button that needs sewn on the back hadn't been done, I couldn't find the FG wands, I hadn't made the button holes so people were turning up looking for them and I was having to throw them together, my dad and OHs dad turned up wearing the wrong shirts and ties, and then OH turned up aswell and didn't like my dress!

At the moment I turned into a complete Bridezilla and threw a wobbler I woke up and there was no getting back to sleep for me!!!

    Thank you!
This is where the catalogue of errors begins....

I finish teacher training in mid July (2012) and will start work in Sept so somewhere between then, but....
OH is finishing Helicopter flight training with RN and finishes around July, totally MOD timescale dependent!!
So very worried about setting an exact date!

Budget depends on when my parents sell on of their houses, but my dad is a horrific bargain hunter, so even if we had mega bucks i'm sure there would need to be a bargain to be had!

Guests is dependent on budget and venue, traditional theme, preferably somewhere packed full of character near Guildford with accomodation so we can all have brekkie together the next morning! and definitely a Saturday.

thanks so much for all ur input!!
  • How about The Barley Mow at West Horsley? The Barn is seperate to the pub but food is done by them, so should be reasonably priced? Might be worth looking at?
