Just had my order cancelled too. Did hope that they would honour it as I'd ordered £120 worth of stuff. Yes, got a bit carried away...
Off to check out brastop now. I'm not sure that the saying 'no publicity is bad publicity' holds true in this case, although they've certainly given plenty of free publicity to their rivals. Shame.... :rolleyes:0 -
Their loss then never enough.
I've just had my cancellation email as well - sent it back saying remove my details from their data base. Meanies. I spent quite a bit as well0 -
2 of my orders have been sent!!0

Just got e-mail to cancel my order - not a total surprise, and at least they have told me they haven't accepted the voucher and why. Think it was Littlewoods who recently delivered goods bought using vouchers, and later worked out they shouldn't really have had the discount, so sent a bill for the extra !! Then I would have been a bit annoyed.
Cannot blame us for trying to get in on a good deal, but cannot blame the retailers for slamming the door in our faces.
So far I have had the benefit of a couple of good 'deals', but I have bought only once using each code and retailer, never multiple uses, nor made dozens of orders in partners, kids, neighbours and dogs name !!! Cannot believe I actually read a thread a couple of days ago about people ADVERTISING the fact that they intended to buy loads of items using codes/loopholes, and then sell on e-bay. Can you blame retailers for pulling the plug?
Presumably owners and staff at these businesses may actually be MSE and read all this bragging and boasting. As usual it is probably the blatent, repeated abuse of these codes which means the possible benefit is lost to everyone0 -
Weird.. I also got emails to say they are cancelled.. but after checking 2 of them are showing as sent.
but then.. i was not so dumb to orderI waited and used my codes this monrning

I also received the cancellation e-mail.
I just sent them the following reply, and would encourage others to do the same:
Dear Sir/Madam
I am very disappointed to learn that you have cancelled my order.
I would politely remind you that YOU sent ME the discount voucher after I entered my e-mail address on your promotional web page. If you did not want me to receive the voucher because I was not one of your "target customers", perhaps your software should have screened me out before sending me the voucher. Since it did not, I think you should stand by your mistake and honour my order.
Certainly the Terms and Conditions to which you refer are open to a number of interpretations, and you have chosen to interpret them to your own advantage. However, should they be put to test in a court of law I am confident that you would have to honour any orders placed using the discount voucher.
From a customer service point of view it is extremely shoddy to cancel a customer's order more than 24 hours after you accepted it, and from a public relations point of view you have risked causing a great deal of damage to your company's reputation by failing to give customers the benefit of the doubt after your own blunder.
I sincerely hope there is no truth in the theories circulating via the internet that this debacle was a stunt on your part to bolster the size of your marketing database by obtaining peoples' information. Please could you send me a written assurance that all information you have obtained about me will be deleted from your systems with immediate effect.
Yours faithfully
