So far my orders, placed AM today, are still showing 'In Processing' One lives in hope.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I was surprised at how expensive they were too. Some things on figleaves were much more expensive than at my local department store.
Also, I've just checked and my order is still "in processing". It was ordered at 8.47.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -
Looks like they are slowly going through the orders and cancelling them manually? If this website is based on a MySql database (or similar, Oracle etc) they need someone who actually has a *CLUE* to work for them. All it takes is a relatively simple query and all is done pretty much automatically.0

My orders still show "in progress" and spend more that £20, but I know for sure that it will be canceled. Ordered previosly from them, when it was free delivery.angel wrote:I was surprised at how expensive they were too. Some things on figleaves were much more expensive than at my local department store.
Figleaves has very high prices being a web retailer. We ordered new sweamwear, but if it will be canceled I will go to Brastop.com, their prices are 50% cheaper compared to Figleaves.
I agree, these companies do these mistakes to create their database. Now they know everything about you: details, size, taste and it worth a shot for them.Have you got something to share - Do it.
When you don't know - Ask.0 -

From their general incompetence recently, I am guessing they would be unable to make any worthwhile use of size etc in targeted marketing.0 -

lol how many dopes do you think are working in the industry? I know IT guys who have done some very expensive mistakes far greater than any other department in the company will ever do or has done.0 -
This doesn't look like an IT problem to me - it looks like someone in Marketing failed to carry out any risk assessment before launching a new offer into the market. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Well, my order was cancelled this morning. Mine was for £48 before voucher so it's not just the freebies that they're cancelling. I'm disappointed that they pulled this stunt and I won't be ordering from them in future. Shame because I have been wanting to order from them for a while and was looking out for a suitable promotion.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out. You'll save money on bookmarks too!' -- Amanda's Handy Hints, Amanda Keller. :cool:0

I second this, my order was also cancelled. Mine was a £60 order AFTER the voucher and wanted to see what their sevise, products ect was like and this was the incentive I needed to try them.
They have lost a customer in me also. Very disapointed, especially as its a high order.0 -
who were the vouchers originally meant for?as we all put our email addresses in and they gave us all one!then found we couldnt use them0
