    Mine says:
Sorry, we could not find any past order details. If you have recently placed an order it may take a few moments before it becomes visible.

But I ordered under £20- wonder if I could reuse the code with over £20??

I've just tried to reorder with something over £20 and the voucher code isn't recognised... my guesses if they're not gonna honour anything under £20!!

    Damn.

I just ordered this afternoon before I read this thread D'oh. But I did order over £20 worth of stuff just.

If I don't get it or they try and charge me full price then back it goes as I can't afford to spend that sort of money on underwear at the moment.

Does it worry me if they cancel my order. No.

No matter what the offer there will always be greed. Someone who takes the mick. The problem is it ruins it for others. They have an an attitude of I am alright jack. And don't care about others.

    Yours

It mentions nothing in the email with the voucher code that the code is restriced to certain groups only but it does say they can refuse the voucher if it is used. My order status also says that no order has been placed and it would be nice to see the company actually email you telling you taht you won't be getting anything rather than just deleting any knowledge of your order.

I will be asking them to remove all my details from their system including my credit card details as i am not being sent a load of !!!!!! from them just because the made a big mess of this situation and try to get a bigger customer base

Just checked the initial URL again. It says:

"We're sorry, but the offer you selected has expired, however here is an alternative offer that we hope will be as good if not better!"

    There are now 3 offers:

    1. £10 off £40
    2. £15 off £60
    3. £20 off £80

The ".. .if not better" part made me laugh. Can anyone see how any of these offers can possibly be ".. if not better" than £20 for no minimum purchase. ;-)

But the point is the only people who will have known the URL are the people to whom the offer applied. When the offer was released into the wild, i.e. here, whoever did so neglected to mention where the URL was from and what purpose it served. Technically if you use these vouchers without them applying to you, it could well be deemed as fraud - a criminal offense. They are unlikely to get the police out to your address though unless you placed repeat orders.

I'd like to see them try that in court! They issue a web address which you can go to and register your email address, and in exchange they send you a discount voucher.
Try telling a judge that I commited a CRIMINAL offence by using a discount voucher code that THEY sent to ME.
Try telling a judge that the web address they posted this offer on was a SECRET, that NO-ONE was supposed to know about, but that they did not protect in any way.
Try telling a judge that this code was only meant to be available to a selected list of customers - then why did you have to send them your email address to get the voucher, when they should have KNOWN the email address of the target recipients?
I think any decent barrister would die laughing if you even discussed this with him (after charging his massive fees obviously).
No, this is not a criminal act. More likely we could argue that this was a criminal act on their part to deliberately build a massive amount of customer contacts without paying for them, and maybe generate a bit of free publicity a la Argos 49p telly.

Wonder if they will use all of our data for junk mail etc and sell our info onto other companies thus getting more junk mail to your address.

I agree that the method and technical setup, plus all the wording of the terms and conditions and so on would probably mean they could not prosecute anyone. But it would be an obvious case if one person had sent themselves 50 vouchers and used them to buy 50 things each at £20 or thereabouts. The terms and conditions do state one voucher per customer, so anyone obviously flouting this is leaving themselves well open to court action I would say.

Figleaves is a reputable company. This is unlikely. If you login to your account you can turn off e-mail notifications. One way of stopping this is to get yourself a separate e-mail account just for this purpose, and if you use slight variations of your address so it gets to your address, but you can tell who will have got the details (like for example a letter after yout house number, or a useless area sound a like or a misspelling) then if you keep a record of what address you give to where, you know what address has gone where and can take court action against those who you gave the address to. The only problem is each address has to be unique and you have to make sure you keep records.
