I hope they honour my voucher as my total order came to £48 (minus £20 leaves £28). I really need a new bra and have been wanting to give my bf a nice surprise! My order shows that the items are out of stock, though, so my guess is that I probably won't get them.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. At best this is incompetence, at worst this is gross incompetence. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

I agree who cares it would have been nice if it worked but I've not lost anything.
As for the employee who read the thread and told them thats there choice.0 -
If the link was emailed to a select group of customers, why not set the code generator to only email them customers the code???Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

it is a IT fault...
they should have better code generator in place...
learn from Paypal ..each code is vaild for particular email address/account only..
and before they even try to blame MSE, they should get better software programmers and fix their codes...All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0 -

:rotfl: well said. I thought they were a large company and would have a legal team as well to check :
a. that the marketing team were thinking to start with.
b. that the IT team thought to put in place a system to stop the marketing teams idea from being abused.
c. The finance team placed on standby in case a & b failed .To see if they would lose more money by honouring the voucher compared to staff costs in trying to find out who was entilted or not.
point c assumes the IT team know how many voucher codes were issued to start with.0 -
I don't know what all the whinging is about myself, as with all these offers the early bird gets a beakfull!
Take it on the chin if you didn't spot it before it was shut down don't be so eager to growl at those that were successful and ponder the thought that next time you may be the early bird with a bellyfull of worms.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

I totally agree! To harp on the subject of retaining information from this poorly orchestrated marketing debacle.....what is the Figleaves stance?0 -
Figleaves have had similar offers in the past where no minimum spend is required and they got hammered by people who know how to clear cookies.
They should have learnt from these mistakes and had better procedures in place to stop multiple orders.
Its no bodies fault but their own and they are getting loads of free publicity and plenty of hits to their website so I don't think they will be too bothered in the long run.
Think the supermarkets call it a LOSS LEADER!0
