Is this basically a case of people abusing the offer by using multiple codes?

No, not really. It is a case that some ppl dont know how to do their jobs.

Does that mean if the order is still there I have a chance of receiving it?

As I first thought, this was clearly always intended to be both:
    a) A marketing ploy... (and it worked, I wont be forgetting figleaves very quickly).
    b) A data collection ply... (regardless of what their site states, they'll be holding my details, I assure you).

The fact is, it would have been so simple for them to ensure that only certain email addresses were able to use the voucher. Normal companies would email the voucher codes to these people direct, not simply provide them with a URL to enter their own.
Furthermore, they could even validate them at the check-out stage, cross matching it with someone else.
I can't believe the IT folk are so incompetent, cos it really wouldn't be hard.

Accept it for what it was. A clever stunt that worked out well for figleaves.

For those that have 'in processing...' expect an email eventually cancelling it. They take time to cross reference their list of viable customers. Really stupid company really. I wont be forgetting them, but they'll remain infamous and I doubt I'd use them for normal orders.

My order history says that the one item I ordered yesterday is 'in processing'.
What are the chances do you think? Ordered one item @ £23+£2 p+p-£20 voucher.

Well I have checked my order and it says that I havn't placed an order. Guess it must of been cancelled then. Real shame that as I only ordered one thing, and it was something I wanted to buy anyway. It would of turned out to of been a nice moneysaver for me.

Would just like to say a big thankyou to the one who phoned the company, you have really made my day now.

I am guessing whoever phoned the company would *NOT* have done so if there was not such widespread abuse of the voucher, i.e. spending less than £20, or using more than one voucher.
