Given that some of us are currently doing 7 x 0 minutes
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
oh yes, that's me! 10 x 3 sounds good to me.
busy, goodness... a week ago i thought i had two male chinchillas. i also though i was 'busy' going through the house buying process and checking on the chinchilla babies every few hours during the day.
now i get up every hour and a half at night to hand feed the little babies as the mum has mastitis. i milked a sheep yesterday to get some fresh milk from them - really lovely people on a farm that i've not even met before are happy for me to come and get sheep milk for the babies.
this past month was a month of firsts!0 -
who likes doing the "chair" (yoga) and whats the record for hula hoops (3 mins)0

Reset my goal recently, to take my target weight down to give a BMI of just under 25. However, was surprised to hit my original target today (BMI of 25 point something).
That means I'm only slightly overweight, instead of fat, which is what I was when I started in January. I'm counting that as a win.
Am too busy to exercise everyday, but the body test has helped me realise when to reign it in and when it's ok to have a little treat. Have been lazy, but am still a fan of my wii fit. It's certainly helped change my attitude to food.
Going away soon, so worried what piggy will say when I miss my daily body test for the first time!
I think we all need to start getting back into a routine soon... maybe we need to set ourselves a challenge? We're setting a horrible example for Yorkielass!
Well done donquine :T
I'd definatley be up for a challenge, probably give me more motivation as I wouldn't want to be a let down lol.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

WOW milking a sheep!! That's amazingand great you have something to feed the babies. Shame the Mummy is a bit poorly. By the sounds of things the babies are well looked after
And I'm glad I'm not the one getting up every couple of hours.

Err the only score I remember on the 3 min hula hoop is 1976and I haven't tried the chair yet on yoga, will give that one a go.
My dilema for the day is I wanted to gut my kitchen and give it a good top to bottom clean. BUT I have a ton of other cleaning and ironing and cooking still to doBut I also want to use the wii fit... looks like I'll be out like a light when my head hits the pillow later
Hope you all have a nice sunny Sunday :cool:Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I'm rubbish at the yoga exercises, I like the muscle exercises better. That said, I've probably not given them a fair shot so far!
Shall we we're all doing 3 lots of 10 minutes next week then? I'm going away, so I'll have to do mine Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! If we all manage our 3 x 10, we'll up the challenge the following week and so on. No cheating... I'll be good if you are too!We just need to get back into the swing of things.
Melonade, I have actually managed to do free step and ironing at the same time before... It's trickier than you think, because you're stepping up and down but ironing side to side... I'm not sure I'd recommend it!
dinah, I'd love to get a cute fluffy pet, but you make it sound like too much hard work for me!Bet it's rewarding though.

i know!! i went to get some more milk today, i was quite looking forward to milking the sheep but the nice farmer had two full jars ready for me. mummy's back to nursing - the babies stopped losing weight, the biggest one's put some on, the other two are lingering around the same weight BUT the fact she's nursing means i only need to top up which means i only need to get up at 2am-ish and feed them and i normally leave for work at 6.20 so if i get up an hour early and offer them some more milk, it should be ok.
i had three coffees today!dinah, I'd love to get a cute fluffy pet, but you make it sound like too much hard work for me! Bet it's rewarding though.
you can have cute fluffy pets without this much work! probably not three 6-day-old chinchillas, but their parents were cute and fluffy - some work involved but nowhere near this - i'd just say, make sure they are the sex they're meant to be!!who likes doing the "chair" (yoga) and whats the record for hula hoops (3 mins)
i can't do the chair because of my knees but i like hula hoop! no idea what my record is and i cannot muster enough energy to go on the wii. maybe once i've had some sleep... zzzzzzzzzzzzz0 -

I'd just like to correct myself1976!! sorry that was for 6 minutes... I checked before.
Today I managed 30 minutesDone 12 minutes of yoga just so I could say I'd tried. Anyway it seemed to help my back enough for boxing, hula hoop, step and juggling:j I done a body check thing too (that I don't normally do) and my BMI was 22.00 and I'm 5lb off my goal. My Wii Fit age is 37 and thats 4 years above my real age. But that usually depends on how bad my back is... my worst was 48 lol
I gave up smoking for about 8 weeks then stupidly started again. Tomorrow I'm back to be a non smoker (I really did love it) so I'll be more inclined to use the Wii Fit. Hopefully it'll get me back in some kind of routine and I try my best to stick to it.
dianah, I'm so pleased the mummy is better now. Must be a huge relief for you that she can feed them again and you can get some rest, kind ofAnd great to hear they are holding their weight too :T Come on the babies!!

I've been poorly with a cold and that has set off my asthma so can't be too energetic but the wii is perfect - did an hour on Sunday morning and yesterday and today I got up a bit earlier and managed 30 minutes each day. 10 on balance and training plus things, 2 x step plus and then 10 minutes of muscle things that I've set up as a routine.
I've mainly done heading and penguin, the number thing, obstacle course, snowball fight, tilting ones ooh can't remember now. I don't like the running or cycling very much and I like the rhythm parade but as soon as I start doing the hand movements I forget to march in time!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

how's the not smoking going?
babies are definitely better! they're putting weight on now - between our feeds!!! :T:T:T we're still topping up before bed but it would appear they're getting what they need from their mum.
another emergency though - chinchi, their dad - had a snip last friday and we had to rush him to the vets at midnight on tuesday because he had massive swelling. he got two injections, another lot on wednesday and thursday, he's better now and only has to take medicine at home rather than going for jabs (he's not keen at all). it was horrible, i thought he was going to die! i felt really guilty because my focus was on keeping the babies alive and i wasn't checking his wounds because he was eating and pooing and all.
i must admit - no wii fit0 -
you go yorkielass!!0
