well, i can't find my wii fit disc (grrr) so i played a bit of table tennis and then decided to do some sword fighting. i've not really done much sword fighting before but it seemed fitting as i had an argument with my husband this morning and we're still not talking so i needed to let off some steam. i won every single sword fight - ha ha - i'm not sure i'll be able to lift my arms tomorrow but hey :T0

Hi dianah, is the sword fighting on the wii fit plus? I'm sure I've not seen it before
Well I haven't been on the Wii Fit for about 4 weeks and I've slipped into some bad eating habits too. Tomorrow morning I'll make a fresh start and try and lose the weight I've put on. I actually love the exercises and can't wait to get started again. Be back tomorrow with an update, which has just added some extra pressure on me to actually do itEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

Ooh, we've both been bad.Nice to see I'm not the only one - hopefully this will be a one off blip for us! The important thing is getting back into a routine and sticking with it.

no, it's on the sports resort game (same for table tennis) - you can't really do the sword fighting for long but it definitely gets your heart rate up!
i did my 30 minutes today - hula hooping, stepping, kung fu-ing and boxing! woo hoo!
has anyone tried these dumbells for the wii remotes?
i'm thinking about getting them but i don't know whether 1kg weight is going to make that much difference and also, one's for the nunchuck so i wonder whether it would be annoying to use on the activities where you need to disconnect the nunchuck. i am tempted though!0 -

Yes hopefully it will hehePosting that I would start again today worked and I done a 30 min session of yoga, hula hoop, step, boxing and some skiing games. I usually do the advanced hula hoop but after a long time off I thought that wasn't a good idea
Bring on tomorrow :j

Thanks dianah, my sons got sports resort so I'll maybe get him to show me what to do. It encourages him to have a go too, not that he needs too much encouragementEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
how's everyone doing?
i must confess i didn't do very well yesterday - my excuse is that i was really really busy (work-home-financial adviser-home-dog walk-had a look at a house-home knackered); i tried to do some between getting home and going to see the financial adviser but i only managed to do about 10 minutes of table tennis and i lost ALL the games because my dogs were highly uncooperative and were getting in the way. though, one of them is a rescue and he seemed quite apprehensive, i think the table tennis movements look a bit aggressive.
still, i'm gonna try and do better today!0 -

At least you done 10 minutes and thats better than nothing :j Shame about the dogs, I suppose your new dog will get used to it eventually. Mine hasn't yet and just thinks me jumping round the living room and leaving him out of all the fun is very unfair!! So he jumps round the living room with me... not funny though when I trip over himso now the wii is back upstairs in my sons tiny bedroom.
I haven't done anything today because I done 30 minutes again yesterday and I'm aching that much I just couldn't bare itHow pathetic is that!! But on the upside I did run a bit round the field with the dog this morning. By running I mean I was dragged round for maybe 200 metres then I had to stop because I was gasping for air :rotfl:
Tomorrow I plan 30 minutes and the aching will be better so I'm looking forward to it :TEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

see, you don't even need to trip over my dogs! they're so big (a great dane and a greyhound) that if they just walk around you for a bit, they push you every which way!
haha, i love your 200m dragfest. when i went to see the financial adviser on tuesday, it was on the second floor so quite a stair climb - was quite hard to talk when we finally sat down! :rotfl:
hope you're aching's better today!
i did my 30 minutes yesterday though (woohoo!) - i was so pleased when the piggie jumped letting me know i've done 30 mins. i also did the body test and it gave me two exercises i've not done before and my wii fit age is 21. i'm 27! woohoo. i bet it's going to be like 87 today haha0
