'you're doing it' 'you really own this track' just some of the things you'll hear from EA sports active trainer, but apart from that for a real good workout I rate it way above Wii Fitness. No more pushing buttons every 2 miniutes, just set the exercise and away you go for 20 to 30 minutes + only £25.

Have done wii fit religiously for a week as well as cut down on what I eat and I've lost a few pounds. :j

I originally meant to only do wii fit twice a week, but then the damn thing kept saying it would see me tomorrow and well, I've been doing it every day to stop it shouting at me.

I mostly do sessions of steps plus and free step with steps basic to wind down. Have got the hang of rhythm boxing at the easy level, but totally fail at advanced! I can't do the kung fu one as everyone is facing the wrong way for me (I really can't do mirror images, doesn't work for me) and I keep cycling into walls. :o The snowball game is easy enough, but I don't feel like I'm burning anything from doing it, so have stopped. Same goes for the numbers one.

I've not tried any of the yoga or muscle exercises, has anyone else? Good/bad?
  • Morning all, have dug out my wii ft plus game which I got for Christmas and I've been playng about on it, I've set my calorie target for abour 250 per day burned on the wii as an interim but does anyone know what a good target would be to burn per day on the wii (in addition to normal activity).

    Muchos gracias.

Have been on the wii this morning. Im going to try and do some in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. I did 10 mins step and a bit of cycling. I like the jogging too and sometimes do a bit with the hula hoop.

    Hi all

Long time no see. Been back on the board today. DS3 had the sonic winter olympic game for Christmas so I'm using the balance board ski game to tone up my legs/butt and strengthen my knees - aching a lot already so it must be doing something and is great fun.

rest day today - was on the wii active yesterday and after 2 days of the 'more workouts' I am really feeling it and needed the rest day today...back tomorrow
For anyone doing the Active workouts the 'more workouts' is great...the workout seems to go so much quicker and there is warm up and cool down stretches...like this a lot
  • Hi all,

Well our new Wii turned up today...complete with Sports, sports resort, wii plus and balance board.
Did the whole weigh-in and am absolutely disgusted with myself
    Say's I'm 15st 8lbs and I need to be 10st at 5' 8".....:(
How did I let myself get so gross?!
;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)

I don't really like the yoga but the muscle exercises I like are press up and side stand, the parallel stretch and jack knives. These are all quite difficult (for me) mind you!

In terms of aerobic exercises I get the best workout from the super hula hoop (10 minutes) and rhythm parade (advanced). After hula hooping I really feel the effect on my abs & bum the next day
