can you change the wieghts on wii fit plus to lb's rather than Kg's I know it doesn't really make any difference but I understand lb's! Also can you set a new goal if you reach it early I reached mine after a week today and would like to set a new goal rather than wait for 7 days if I can?
Thanks0 -
jammy26 Im sure you can change the weight as mine is in pounds. Not quite sure how though. Maybe if you go into the settings. Not much help sorry. I went on mine this morning and did the body test. Ive put a few pounds on over xmas. Remote needed charging which Im doing now so will get back on later.0

Happy New Year wii fitters.
Been back on the board today using DS3's winter olympics. I want to get my legs stronger for skiing at half term so I've been doing the downhill skiing - my butt and worse knees are really aching after just 20 minutes so I need to do some everyday or I'm going to be a nightmare - usually need 2 beers and 2 parrots to get my boots back on after lunch anyhow!
Jammy - mine's in lbs - I'll have a look later and see if I can work it out for you
With the poor weather at least there is no excuse with the wii.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi Everyone. Ive been on for about 40 mins this afternoon so thats a start. I mostly do the step, cycling and jogging.0

I got EA Sports active for Xmas so thought I would join this thread in order to keep motivated. Early impressions are that it's a lot more high impact than Wii Fit. I did a "medium" intensity lower body workout yesterday and came out suitably knackered. And I thought I was already fairly fit!
It's a very "American" game though, the trainer is very loud and brash and is constantly coming out with stuff like "Your body is going to love you for the pace your setting!!".
It's a good thing that you can mute/reduce his constant "encouragement"!! lol0 -
started the day with 30 mins of Active workout...been housebound with the weather for about 3 weeks now (fortunately can work from home)... have also ordered some hand weights that I can use when stepping etc .... 2 weeks till holidays...0

This is the one I am planning to buy, but I don't have a balance board. Would you say I really need the board or is it okay without it? Sounds like it is a really good work out!G_Model101 wrote: »I got EA Sports active for Xmas so thought I would join this thread in order to keep motivated. I don't have the board either, you don't need it for the game. It picks up the exercises perfectly well using just the nunchuk and wiimote. But I imagine if you had it it would offer you a bit more variety. For example, on the punch bag, without the board you do punching as per usual but with the board I think you can do knee's on the bag.
Also without the board you have no way of weighing yourself so you can't directly see how much you have lost ala Wii Fit, instead the game tells you how many calories you have used up. I think this is perhaps more motivating, as you aren't training specifically to lose weight but you can just see in black and white what you have achieved after every workout.
Imo it's not as polished a game as Wii Fit but it's a goodie none the less, especially because it's like £30 cheaper!
My bum still hurts from the leg exercises the other day, I may have overdone it lol! But rest day today, yay!0 -
Ah, thanks, that's just what I wanted to hear lol. I might get the board if I see a good deal on it at some point, but I'd just like to get started so I'll get on and buy EA Active now. I like the sound of seeing what you've achieved - and I think you're right, it will be more motivating.
Enjoy your rest today!
