  • They have one exactly like that in Stockton High Street every year, I think it's donated from Sweden or something? Anyway, it looks really striking and lovely

  • oooo exciting - i'm glad I'm not the only one looking around for trees already! This year I am buying my first christmas tree. I want an artficial 5ft tree but I dont know whether to go for a pre-lit or not. If I don't go for pre-li, how many lights do I need?? Ooo choices!

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

We have an artificial traditional tree which we bought approx 14 years ago. It is only 5ft tall and my DD's moan that they would like a bigger tree but it is as good as it was when we bought it and it reminds me of our first christmas together when our DD's were just a twinkle in our eyes.

    Oooooh i love christmas

Had to throw mine way last year-looking for a 7ft preferably pre lit. There is a warehouse in Birmingham ( Latifs) which usually do some cracking trees and decs so will take a gander there when I have some pennies!
    lovin' this site!

  • We have my tree that I bought probably about 5 or 6 years ago which is a good size and I have loads of multicoloured quirky baubles on it (and multi coloured lights and tinsel!) - reminds me of the hap hazard non-colour coordinated tree we always had at my parents! lol Because it's big, it'll be in the dining room bay window.

Then we'll have a smaller one in the lounge (no real room for the big one) which will be colour coordinated for hubby! lol Normally blue and white. Then I just put some tinsel around pictures frames and a wreath on the lounge door.

All artificial as we have two cats and they like the baubles enough as it is. Plus the old pine needle issue. But I LOVE the smell of real trees......mmmmmm.

    Can't wait now!!
