Aren't they brilliant !
Well, we gave up on real ones some years back after spending year after year trying to get pine needles off the carpet (probably some still there now!)
So, its a green artificial one with gold baubles and beads on...........whole lounge is green and gold with artificial garlands and wreaths on the walls.............I know it's not real but it looks the part and we like it.
Did intend to make some little felt bits to drape across the dresser but can;t see me getting round to it now.
Oh and tree lights.............just must have tree lights :rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I would love a beer bottle tree! We have a normal tree with the usual decorations on including some pine cones with glitter on that OH made when he was little, then some lovely old decoartions that were donated by his parents, and some that I've bought.
Then I have a pink girly tree for myself which will have lots of pink things, some cocktail decorations I've bought, some that I made, some little birdies and things that I've picked up. OH will probably hate it, this is the first year I'll be doing one as we got a second tree off his parents too, but I'm so excited!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
I think there all really snazzy those, I didint like the upside down trees that I saw last year. Last year I was in my own flat with oh and had a fake tree but it was gorgeous and had dull gold & bronze decorations and clear lights on it and it was gorgeous. This year we are both at home with our parents and my mum and dad also have a fake tree with red and gold decoraton and multi coloured lights. I love decorating the tree0

My mam's tree is a source of much annoyance to me and my brother, in the past few years she's gone for a colour scheme of bronzes and antique golds and reds, which admittedly does look gorgeous, but all the old decorations we used to love have been banned as they look too 'scruffy'! Stuff we've had since we were little kids and are a bit of a family tradition are all not allowed anymoreD'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0

Wow, I always wanted a fibre-optic tree but that is pretty awesome! I want one like that!
I'l just be having an artificial one though, probably, because the cat would destroy a real one.0 -
I like a traditional one but artifical cant be doing with the needles. I usually have a dark rich red and gold theme.
We usually have our tree in the front room but worried our puppy and 18 month old will be knocking it over etc so thinking of having it as a centrepiece in our hall but think it be wierd with no tree in the front room so still mulling it over.Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0 -

Raise it up off the floor and put it in a corner and you should be fine. It's less likely to be jumped on by the puppy if theres something underneath it and your 18 month old probably couldnt reach, depending how much you raise it.0 -
