Have you driven either of these cars yet?
What if one of them you cannot get comfortable in?
Test drive both.
While I have reservations about Nissan's French entaglement these days I thinking that the Micra is in a size class above the i10, more like the the i20 and represents good value if your getting £2000 off.

Hyundai cannot make the i10 fast enough right now, why would they discount further? They don't have to to sell them.

I think either is a good bet, test drive, get the quotes in and take it from there. If the Micra and i10 can be had for the same price the Micra looks like more car for your money.

The Nissan Micra is due a model replacement shortly, this could have an adverse effect on future value on the second hand market.

Thats probably some of the reason they are offering £2000 off a new one now.
