Screw in Curry - What to do

Surely most people would give some thought to whether they were entitled to compensation, under those circumstances. It sounds pretty dangerous to me. My opinion -- if she had swallowed the screw, she should definitely have sued. The fear of being justifiably sued is one of the factors that helps make restaurant owners in general rather careful about not dropping metal objects in the food they are selling.
Had she swallowed the screw, then by definition she would have been unaware of it. How could she later establish the origin of the said screw?
BTW I knew an old lady who swallowed a fly. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

It's probably just some freak accident. It may have fallen from an extractor hood, or a shelving unit that was knocked and nobody noticed. If it was happening to more customers, then you'd assume a rogue employee. Presumably this isn't the case or you may have heard about it already?
Definately report it to the relevant health authority - really just to make sure they are aware of it and can keep their eyes peeled for similar complaints. I doubt very much that the restaurant in question is preparing their food in a metalwork shop on the counter next to a milling machine.
I'm not sure how your pregnancy is relevant to anything? "What if" scenarios are too wishy-washy to do anything about.
Insist on a refund. Forget compensation.0 -
How about just get over it?0

Really dont worry, if these sorts enjoy sharp metal objects in their food, then that is down to them, but I dont and I am sure alot of others dont either.
I dont think my complaint is really that bizzaire and was looking to get advice from an adult community as MSE is usually quite good for it.
I doubt I will refer to the forum again!Best Comp wins[/B]: , Holiday to Las Vegas worth £3K, £200 shoes, £130 ASOS voucher, £150 River Island Voucher, £100 Toni & Guy Voucher, £250 Red Letter Day Voucher, Holiday to NYC[/COLOR]0 -

Oh come on!
Just a little light humour and no offence intended
Along with the puns you have received some good advice on what to do.
Please accept my apologies if I have hurt your feelings. That was not my intention.
Don’t be put off future posting and I’m sure you’ll settle in and make lots of friends including me, I hope.0
