BT have just announced that 0870 numbers will come under the 'Free evening / weekend calls' deal

0870 numbers have been counted as inclusive with BT for a while now.

    Hi,

I am on NTL/Vigin and for the last few weeks have problems with Saynoto0870, sometimes it loads othertimes not

I have tried to move the MTU o the D Link 624 router to 1478 as suggested but at the moment the site stillcomes up with

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Does anyone have any other suggestions to help :(

My suggestion would be to use a different browser - I've just loaded http://saynoto0870.com/ in both Firefox and Opera, no probs.

Incidentally, the latest incarnation of Opera is very fast :) But both Opera and FF are generally considered better browsers than IE.

Cheers, I have reset the MTU and restarted both the router and the PC and "touch wood" all is now working.
I have thought of changing browser but need my eldest daughter back from Uni to help me through it...
  • I use say no to 0870 all the time in the UK. I am in Spain today and cannot access their site. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the site, or is it possibly because I am in Spain. thanks for any information

Same here. It must be down.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
