I have needed it several times over the past week.
The site never seems to be working. The one time I did manage to get onto the site it was impossibly slow and then fell over.
Help! These calls are costing a fortune
Anyone got any alternative lists?0 -
There were a few problems with the site earlier today, due to very high demand.
Some people trying to access the site between approx 11:30 and 3:00 may not have been able to connect.
This issue was resolved, and everything should now be back to normal.
Apologies for the inconvenience,
Daniel

Not quite the same but may help; - http://www.contact-number.co.uk/?#Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Does anyone know the alternative numbers to contact Virgin Media? The website Saynoto0870.com seems to be down at the moment. I would prefer the landline number to switch board where you can ask for customer service instead of dialing the 0845 or 0800 numbers. Thanks.0

I am on Virgin ASDL, but have used the following numbers,(you may have to push them to connect you to the dept you want).
0800 0520089
0800 0520137Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
The DVLA has swapped its 0870 numbers for 0300 numbers - same charge as geographic calls from all providers and included in packages on the same basis.
This is the last of major public sector abusers of 0870 numbers for normal contact and enquiries. There are however many public sector bodies continuing their abuse of 084 revenue sharing numbers, apparently not yet having realised that 03 numbers have been around for over two years now.
See this discussed on saynoto0870.
Watch out for an announcement by the Department of Health regarding the proposed ban on use of 084 numbers in the NHS sometime soon!0 -
Say no to 0870 site is awesome - iv been using it for at least 18 months now and it ensures all my calls stay within my mobile contract when contacting banks etc.0

Yes...I understand Government injected extra funds to support it. Now, whether you consider it's right that we all pay extra taxes to support that, versus those actually calling DVLA fund the cost of answering their calls, is more of a political debate...I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
As at this moment, SayNoTo0870's website is down because "they've exceeded their bandwidth"
