@James_N Spot on
If the PPC's are that great, why don't they just have a big massive sign on the entrance to the car park in plain big text. Something straightforward and simple like "2 hours maximum stay, charge for overstay £60". No they have to have a big long page of text you can't possibly read and place it somewhere you're unlikely to be able to read it - which is a big part of the scam.
But no it has to be crap signs like this that you can't possibly read... Note use of all caps and text centring which in conjunction with the small font size makes it particularly difficult to read (and that excludes the writer's poor command of the English language).0 -
I hope that Excel will follow SG's example and take this http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/news/I39ll-fight-all-way-to.6053548.jp#4917434 chap to court. Oh I forgot, the last times they did that they got spanked, silly me.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Errr, right, ok.Shaun_Goater wrote: »A judge is interested in the facts only. Is the sign correct? Was a ticket issued correctly?
I'm sure someone once told me that judges are also interested in the law, but I may be wrong. Like, errr, a precedent from 1915 about a charge being an unlawful penalty if it doesn't reflect actual losses.
But, as you say, no point in raising points of law in a court, as judges aren't interested in the law.
Thanks for the tips.Shaun_Goater wrote: »You have convinced yourselves that we are all 'Scum'.

can you tell me which ppc company you are working for, i am curious?
can you also tell me why you are trying to find cases on the internet when you say you have won so many of your own ?
they can't all be undefended surely!0 -
Shaun_Goater wrote: »I have many Judgements by default because you lot tell everyone to ignore all correspondance. Great advise that!
But you can only refer to two cases that were taken to court by a known idiot with the aim of merely proving something to forum users?! It is also suggested the cases may well have been staged as a stunt by Mr Perkins.
If you get the judgements by default enjoy them. Why are you making so much effort to try convince people to pay up if you don't need them to?! In your position I'd be well chuffed and wouldn't be coming on to forums with a point to prove!
SG's argument seems to be drying up and turning into a one track record now!0 -

We are still waiting on the case numbers and for you to acknowledge that you will take up the pepipoo challenge or are you like the rest?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
By the way SG you have set a record for ppc's and dc's in posting 19 times, most don't have the stamina.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
