  • weezl, this may be a totally stupid idea, but had you thought of making a dice and having different treats on each side that he is allowed to use for say a week, so you make the tea, give him a foot rub etc... and then its a bit more random ???

ooooh! inspired suggestion. That's christmas sorted :) How're you kristal? Haven't seen you for a bit.
I'm ok... Fighting a battle with Wii addiction at the minute, keeping up with you all via iPod but it's an effort to post from it...

Had a man come round to roughly measure my windows today, I've had one of those 'home improvement' secured loans from the council but it's turning into a bit of a palavar... I applied for it nearly 2years ago, all the paperwork has finally gone through but the guy who did the original figures has ballsed up and I've got to wait and see if it's going to cost me actual cash from my pocket on top...

Mfd, if you're around... Are you free for coffee anytime soon? I have some money for you burning a hole through my purse...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Elle, sorry for missing results and the DLA appeal. I'd say to appeal and get more specific advice. How old was HVs child? Could you try and find someone with experience of claiming for a baby? How you word things is important, and although I could easily help someone with Mental Health problems claim, I'd be useless in your situation. Are there any charities for babies like Rhys? It isn't unusual to fail for silly reasons - I get a lower rate DLA than I think I should because I don't need specific things I said I needed. It is horrible and frustrating. The benefits section are great at advice on appealling, perhaps post in there?

Thank you everyone for your posts and PMs today, I'm really touched. Had a chat wiith OH and I feel better about the relationship but worse about me. I am being very emotional and sensitive and he isn't perfect. I don't know what to do, I'm just thinking. Have sent a very honest (but oddly incredible formal) email to HV about how I feel, so shall keep fingers crossed that she replies with some suggestions. She seemed a bit out of her depth with me so far but has good intentions so fingers crossed.

Don't mind sharing the design I did with anyone who wants them :) We're all pressed for time now - I had plenty of time on my hands then, plus it was before [STRIKE]morning sickness[/STRIKE] all-day-nausea kicked in :)

We don't change Fergus' nappy between 7pm and 7am. I guess I would if he ever pooed at night. Or perhaps if he seemed to mind being in a wee nappy at nighttime. Do you find he cries with nighttime wetness? :)

i think we've been changing him cos when he was newborn the mw said, change hime befor every feed... so we have been. but reading on here and in my (few weeks) experience, the napppies often are hardly wet. dh doesnt want him lying there wet. am trying to explain to DH that leaving him unchanged wont do him any harm, we can always check how wet he is anyway by feeling the front of nappy. have showed him the baby-dry nappies and explained they are designed for sleeping through the night. and seeing that is what we want him to do we need to get used to not changing him. is DH i need to convince more than me! have left him past 2 nights with only 1 change and Kian was fine, just daddy didnt like how wet the nappy was :o
