For encouraging positions to "go", the occupational health nurse at work (don't really know how we got in to such conversation!) said she knew a doctor who had tipped a box of matches on the floor and told the person with the troubles to bend down and pick them up one by one. All that bending and stretching helps, apparently. Maybe it could be adapted for LOs by seeing if they can touch their toes..:)

You have the right to return to a role no worse than your old one - no worse in terms of working conditions, pay, status etc - because you are going back during "additional maternity leave" which is the second six months. If you'd gone back during or at the end of "ordinary maternity leave" which is the first six months, you'd be entitled to the very same job back. HTH x

    Thanks Elle.
Bummer! It'll be 9 months when I go back! Its pretty much the same job, but on the team run by the b1tch from hell! Hopefully it'll only be 3 months max - now can I bite my tongue and remain pleasant for 3 months?

  • I got post today! :j. Wasn't expecting any for ages due to the strike and along came my £25 vouchers from Jamie's CTF! :D. Along with the jute bags for my sisters and Mum from the linky a while back (Maz/Elle?).

Hope everyone is well today. Children not going to my Mums this afternoon as she is going out for lunch. She originally didn't tell me but my sister let it slip so I told her off and made her tell her friends she could make it afterall :).

    xx

I think this is the same as cycling bubba legs ;) you told me this when pg and so I hung my washing up picking the stuff up one by one instead of grabbing an arm full at a time - it works! :rotfl:

How much postage did yours cost? They charged me 40p each for three but the postage cost them £2.71!
