Hurrah for Christophers in underpants and for Weezl's HR people.

I'm rushing about but thought I'd ask - the fairies still have a mostly-full tube of nipple cream with lanolin and oils in it. It's magical and worked amazingly, so if anyone wants it please PM and I'll let the fairies know. If not I'll wander over to the PG thread and ask over there :)

Kian must be really tired. today he's had his bottle and gone fast asleep until the next bottle is due.
he does have a bit of a cold/stuffy nose so that maybe why.
think i need to go out for some fresh air though...
think a walk is in order

Nooooooo! Chris has been in his nappy earlier so hopefully we're ok there!
Just had a puddle in the kitchen 2mins after I asked him so we're gonna go for the every 15 mins 'just in case'

If a debt is passed to a National Debt Collecting Agency, can they come and take your stuff? Just had a threatening letter from the electricty company and although they've said it's all fine (because we don't owe them any money - it's a complete mystery), they said that when I phoned them about the previous letter so I don't trust them.
Either way, they suck. If I have another, I'm going to the private hospital!!
It does suck. I thought London was the only place you could give birth in a private hospital?

Susan - can I ask why you are planning to get a double pump, 6 bottles etc? is it a just in case strategy or do you plan to express so OH can bottle feed?
A double pump is quicker and more effective. We did one EBM feed per day with Alice and intend to do the same with future babies. The bottles come in packs of three and three isn't enough if you've got some in the fridge with milk stored in them.

question: I have a toddler in UNDERPANTS :D How often do I get him to sit on the potty just in case? I was thinking every 20mins :undecided:
These days unless she's drunk a large amount Alice will typically go an hour or longer between wees. She did however have a phase where she didn't do the whole wee and we could get puddles as little as two minutes after the last wee (although two minutes was unusual). You get used to what sort of time interval you need depending on the time of day and how much they have drunk etc.

thought you werent meant to cross a picket line though...
A picket line is just people who are striking encouraging others to strike too. I think in the past some picket lines were pretty scary but there was a lot of legislation in the eighties which limited the power of unions in terms of striking and picketing so it's not that hard for people who choose to to carry on working.

Susan, said electric company wouldn't happen to be a 'Power' one? Scottish Power did the same to us, a bill we had paid was sent to a debt collection agency. Like you, I don't trust them.

Amber is so clingy because she has a cold. Poor wee mite, she's all bunged up and also has drool rash all over her neck and face.
