She's only 11 weeks old, but we've been able to see them under the gum since she was born. She's been an appallling crank the last few days with disturbed sleep, horrific nappies, constantly wanting to feed but throwing up from overfeeding ... and now there's teeth!
We've been contorting ourselves trying to get a picture of the inside of her mouth :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Yay for theeth - Molly & Violet

SS - I thought Liam was too young to be going through this, and reading AF's posts I was beginning to doubt myself that the white spot on his gum was a figment of my imagination and not infact a tooth, but if Molly has teeth then it is possible (although Liam's is at the side
)
I was feeling really bad because I gave into the Calpol. He was crying in pain, overtired, not settling - even on me - and such a contrast to how he was this morning. He went to sleep almost straight away and I have been feeling guilty - like I became one of them mums that give the little ones calpol just to make them sleep/keep them quiet

NMS a friend of mine has a kid who got his canines first at 12 weeks or so - apparently he looked like a vampire for about four months :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

don't feel guilty about calpol. I have paediatrician friends who swaer by it and I think that if they are happy to use it, then it's probably okay.
I use calpol when I need to, which isn't that often. SO long as you are sensible, then I think your LO will be okay
(this is NOT medical advice though - discuss with your GP or HV if oyu are unsure). I'm just trying to say don't beat yourself up
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Congratulations on teeth Violet and Molly - we are not jealous at all!!
I forgot what else I was going say...
...I just decided to do a spot of personal grooming whilst Benjamin had a nap and I appear to have lost my eyebrow tweezers....some time ago by the look of my Dennis Healy brows
And when I said I did half of every job I wasn't kidding - have just cut my toenails and it would appear for the last time (or maybe 2!) I have only managed to cut the nails on my right foot

I disgust myself!

Ooo - that was it! Calpol - I am not sure what there is to be guilty about...would you rather see baby in pain?
I haven't used it often at all (twice I think) but I wouldn't hesitate if Benjamin appeared to be in pain...we can choose not to take painkillers and suffer the pain but I don't want Benjamin to suffer.
Apparently the reticence to take painkillers in todays society is leading to an increase in serious illnesses going undiagnosed. We live with the pain too often and because we don't take painkillers we don't know until it is too late that there is something seriously wrong. I watched a documentary on it a while back
I really am going now!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Hi all, how are we?
Blimey caz that was convenient for your OH, having someone stop and then put him up for the night, I wouldnt have much the same luck if i broke down i bet! (which is a bloody regular occurence these days lol) so why didnt he just phone the RAC anyway?
Skinty, nice to see you back on here.
SM, I was thinking about going back to work because I need more money! In want to buy loads of stuff and cant when i'm living off tax credits.
Did I tell you all that Ry-ry has another tooth? noticed it yesterday when he was crying, actually reding that i've just relised i did tell you
I need to try and get him to go bed later than 6pm cos the last few mornings he's been waking up at 6am  I cant be having that lol
My back had been playing up the last few weeks and so has my sciatica, well i think it's sciatica, it's never been diagnosed as I loathe to go to the docs, but i suffer with the classic symptoms, plus my foot goes numb too.
Anwyay, my foot is really bad at the moment, it is really painful when i'm not wearing trainers, even my shoes hurt cos they aren't supportive enough, so i am gonna haave to go to the docs.
My friends twins are doing really well considering, they are in the level 3 ward????:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
The thought now is it might be gastro-enteritis, because OH has had it before and is starting to feel the same way and therefore presumably same reason for Elijah... oh dear! I really need to not get it too!0
