Missed you tooyay! Welcome back kristal, I missed you
(And you Tia!)
I did, and 2 birthday cakes... And that's my favourite kind of cakeMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Oh dear - snotty baby has degenerated into thoroughly miserable baby. He doesn't want booby, has had 5oz of a bottle but to be honest most of that went down his chin or all over me (how does he do that?) doesn't want his courgette and sweetcorn lunch (his fave) or stewed apple or fromage frais. He will eat ricecakes however and is currently chewing on his own snotty flannel - anything to keep him quiet!!!
Not looking great for our first swimming lesson tommorow
Krystal - sound like you had a fab birthday all told - and you even got the surprise you wanted! Welcome to the cool decade

I don't feel 30 though... Should I?

The song which reminds me of my birth has got to be 'Why Are We Waiting' (a la playground stylee!!)
:rotfl:Madonna's version of American Pie was on the radio as I was having Violet. I was telling them I wasn't pushing until it had finished or they switched the radio off because I didn't want my daughters first sound to be that bl00dy song by that bl00dy woman! :rotfl:
My baby girl has got a big lump at her bottom front gum - at last! I don't think its broken through yet - but its not far off, I can see the sharp white edges. :T Right now, shes chewing on the end of a lolly ice (ice pole, ice lolly - whatever your preference) in the food sock thingy.:beer:0 -
Ugh Caz that's awful.... and he was supposed to be driving back during today, right? So if everything is OK, he'd be en route? When is the earliest he could get back? Does he have a charger with him or could it have run out last night and him have no way to recharge? Did he promise to call this morning or anything like that, when you last spoke?
If the answers to most of those are not good, suggest calling the police (or dropping in if you are near somewhere) to talk to them - they may say it has to be 24 hours or whatever, but you should ask anyway.
Good luck, all my fingers crossed.
ETA OK, work meant it took me an hour to finish this post during which 1 meelion people posted and Caz's OH was found safe, so um, I'll get my coat.0 -

Of course we did!
I've been stalking you on FB..
 I did a catch up post somewhere.... Elle, where would you prefer the injections to be?
I'm not fussed to be honest. They make out like going to the hospital is a big drag and I guess it would be for some people, and it is for me some of the time, but I'm not really bothered as long as Rhys gets his jab (and I don't have to do it!
). I was under the impression they wouldn't do the bloods at home because occasionally for a particular blood test they have to get the sample to the lab very quickly but we don't have that test very often and yet the comms nurses seem to off-load all blood tests to the hospital nurses now
.. Elle, Wires makes me cry, I have to turn it off or I start blubbing.
Me too.. I put it on and Rhys froze - he had previously been climbing all over me.. he wants to stand, all the time!
Have just put him down for a nap. In five months, I've never actually put him down for a nap in a different room to me.. Now he's in the bedroom and I'm in the living room (soon to be kitchen to make lunch
) but I can still hear him. He's bashing a toy about, no wittering, but definitely no napping either. Ah well, will try to buy myself half an hour to myself..
