LOL - Benjamin has been doing it for ages but I have been too preoccupied to say anything
Aw bless the dinky crawling baby! Does he like tummy time? Benjamin has spent most of his time on his front since she started rolling over, I think thats why he started to crawl so early (5 1/2 months).
Going to take my yelling baby for a nap and have a shower...and clean the bathroom whilst I am there
I would suggest getting dressed before you go to the hospitalplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

and on the topic of locomotion...
I'm very impressed with Benjamin
Fergus has mangaged to occasionally fluke about an inch of forward movement, but nothing more. He still also rarely rolls over, less than once a week.
I'm not worried yet, and in lots of ways it's really good cos it would be harder with the PG if he was super sprinter
The only thing I feel sad about is that MFD gets kisses and I don't
But lots of nice smiles which makes my day

 if #2 is early they could have the same birthday!!!
Indeedy! or share my mum's on the 11th, mine on the 23rd or be a little late and share my dad's on 2nd April
March is a costly month here!
Actually Em number 2 is more likely to be early than late cos of the closeness of dates thingie, so you could well be right!
My song that always makes me think of the day Fergus came has been Elbow, 'one day like this'.
Ironically: "Throw those curtains wide, one day like this a year'd see me right" is proving pretty accurate prediction for me!
Did anyone else have a song that they associate with their feelings about their child's birth?

just adding my two pennethworth to the shmushfest, i dont know what i'd do without you guys *wipes misty eye*
i have no mummy friends at all, dont have anything to do with my mum and for advice i'd be relying on my nan!! you guys are the reason seth is still alive i think :rotfl:
seth fell off the bed again this morning  he was tired whingeing so i took him up for a nap and put him on the bed quick while i arranged the sleeping bag on the cot mattress, and in that split second he rolled off the bed  he bashed the cot on the way down so broke his fall a bit, but now he has a little lump on both the front and back of his head cos of the way he fell
it just shows you what a difference a few weeks worth of mummy experience makes though, cos last time he did it i rang OH in a panic and whisked him to a&e!! napping now, all has been forgotten already
i am off to take him to the CM for a settling-in morning now... and today i am going to LEAVE him there for a couple of hours! i'm actually excited to get a couple of hours on my own, i am royally fed up at the moment and need a breakhe isnt sleeping in the cot all of a sudden and OH keeps putting him in bed with us, and much as i love him, i do not want to share my bed with him, i like my space!!
