  • Hi Tigs, glad to hear I'm not alone and also good news that your (very) little one is doing well in SCBU. It seems for both of us that the saying is right and life begins at 40! Despite my comments I would recommend a second, my two are just starting to interact and it's lovely to see. On a presonal note, if I did it again I would only come back to work as a last resort and as late as I possibly could, finance allowing.
We'll have to start a geriatric club ;-)

    Oh yes, about me lol
Went to docs who asked me to do a sample, I cant pee under pressure so couldnt give one but explained to the doc that I have done loads of tests so really not worth it.
Off she sent me down the phleobotomy(sp?) clinic in the hospital for a blood test.
The blood taking nurse told me the results will be available today, but it depends if the doctors get it, she marked it as urgent for me, but will probably have to wait till monday.
I bet after all this I'm not pregnant, and I'll be a bit gutted if I'm not :o

    ARRGGGHH.

Took the DS back to gamestation, oh they can't replace it because it's a manufacturers fault, but they would of if I had purchased their £15 insurance at the time as the receipt only covers things like if it stops working.

Just phoned nintendo and blah blah not their fault, send it off to them and they'll assess it but I'm looking at a £53 charge. HOW THE HELL IS THAT FAIR?!! I didn't put a flipping crack in the hinge, it's their shoddy work.

Oh and I seen Scruffy today in Mcdonalds. Hello!!

Anyone been to Bruges? We were looking for a short break before Christmas, and work travel offers just came up with a 3-night stay in Bruges by Eurostar during their 'Christmas markets' at the end of Nov, looks quite appealing but dunno anyone who's been and can comment.
Have you seen the film "in bruges"? Its a gorgeous place, my sis went earlier this year and said it was really nice. unfort for her she went on thr ferry and it broke so she only got to spend 1.5 days there

Really??? I'd be horrified! There's 5 and a half years between my two and thats probably a bit much but I couldn't do two close together I just don't have the patience,.

Theres a similar age gap between Aston and Ryan isn't there? (think Aston and Millie are both YR 1 this year, although mils school has a funny system and she is in YR 1/2)
