skinty - my LO had bad drooling about this age and it was connected with teething. The first tooth came through about a month later.
I was going to say the same thing - really sounds like it might be teething, would be my first guess. You can get teething symptoms for weeks before anything is visible
Bruno is lurking - I see you! - but busy busy with work and an out-of-sorts Elijah
Lurking I am! But keeping up with the thread. Work is now finally back to a reasonable level of slackness, I am not properly caught up on sleep yet but getting there...
Elijah's diarrhea is worse today than yesterday, still assuming it's MMR-related but he also has a nasty cough, and now fairly severe nappy rash
Not quite as extreme as the poor bleeding-butted baby we sympathised with in recent weeks, but the worst he's ever had and it's clearly really hurting and upsetting him
We're Sudocreming but may seek whatever the next step up is maybe if it isn't better tomorrow. 0 -
skinty it might say "up to" cos you dont have to receive it for the whole 39 weeks, you can go back to work earlier if you want to?Mummy to

No harm in phoning - 90% sure it says "a maximum of" simply because people can choose to return to work earlier, in which case it stops being paid. They wouldn't want to say "for 39 weeks" without qualifying it, for that reason.0 -
Nope, Krystal is back. Said on FB last night she was cream-crackered and didn't have the energy to catch up with us but would be back today.. sometime
She did break DH's laptop a while ago though and I think it was being fixed today, so until then she only has the iPod
Indeedy I believe we are talking 3-0 kinda big... (I really hope I'm not wrong!
)
Ha ha
. Hope you had a fab time Krystal!
It's DH's 30th in a few weeks. I have NO idea what to get him. He isn't into gadgets (no Wii, Xboxes or anything similar here), he doesn't wear aftershave and pretty much buys himself anything he wants or needs. I suggested a new watch, but he said "the one I've got is fine". I just get "don't waste your money" every time I ask him. Not helpful!. The only thing I can think of is booking a night away in a hotel for us and ask grandparents to babysit. I'd like to get him something to open though too.0 -
Like Bruno says - I think it's because people can choose to return to work sooner and then they no longer qualify.skintchick wrote: »I thoguth so but she only got it for 6 months and it says on the website that it is paid for a maximum of 39 weeks, implying sometimes it may be less.

More like pure feigreek, and DH can smell it too so it's not just me. My BO smells off it and my hands especially! And thats only me taking 1 a day.

I remember it well.. ick!
Let me know how you get on with the biscuits.. Might make them tonight too.. I've eaten all the chocolate and biscuits in the house!

Sounds nasty
Does the poorliness mean he is or isn't sleeping too? *hugs* all round :grouphug: 0 -
emlou and Bruno, that makes sense thanks. I will tell my friend to get in touch and find out why hers was stopped - she isn;t working so should get it for the full time unless her settlement affected it somehow.
