Where's the best place to buy those Elle? Sounds like I need to get some! Lilia was soaked all on her front today. Doesn;t help she isn;t holding her head up yet so it all heads straight down onto her before I can wipe it off.

Ours are 10 for £3 from Asda. Only cheapy ones but they do the job :) Fasten with a little velcro tab to the side.

elle i think i'd be scared to hold rhys :o i know its really silly but i'd be paranoid that he would be really fragile!!

    He's huge! ;)
Elle - tell me about the formula (PM me if you want!!) I'm sorry sweetie I missed it.

Just that I was talking to the comms nurse about it and she's going to speak to a dietician to find out which formula Rhys can have. He won't have any less EBM, but he's soon going to need more than I can give him so we need something to top him up, at least until weaning starts. I'm coming round to the idea as obviously I'd rather he have something than starve! :o

Sadly it is meaning less sleep - he's clearly in some serious discomfort from his rear end, and also most of the time when he does wake he then poops, which necessitates changing and full wakefulness and upsetness :(

I know how you feel! Benjamin has never been a very cuddly baby (other than with MIL) but these days I don't get anything. I am hoping that it will change as he gets older and understands what it is like to show love!!

E was always ok with cuddles but in the last 3 months or so he has definitely learned that cuddling can be for affection and emotional comfort etc. It's a good phase :D

LO has never been a cuddly baby - not at all:o It's horrible when she's upset or fallen over. She cries and wails, holds her arms out and flings herself at my chest but pulls away when you hold her close of cuddle her in an attempt to confort her and ease the pain. It makes me want to cry sometimes:o

I'm pinning my hopes on the phase bruno has mentioned...... sometimes she's just too independant for her own good (now I wonder who she takes after)

I remmeber that with Katie -- to stop from changing her multiple times throughout the day, I bought plastic-back bibs. they arent as pretty as the others, but it doesnt soak through her tshirt!!

Oh that reminds me, we have lots and lots of plastic backed bibs (bought some then got heaps from OH's cousin). Like you say, not as pretty as others, but useful. Fairies can send some if you'd like.. :)

I feel like such an idiot sometimes! Thank yoy for the offer Elle, but when I read trhat, I remembered we have a pack of those that my cousin's wife gave us, so will dig them out. Was planning on using them for weaning and didn't think about drooling.

Skinty - they were from Asda. They were bought about 12 months ago though as they were bought for my cousin's baby but she had too many to use them all so we received the surplus ones. They might still stock them though. Caitlin's still not holding her head brilliantly, so I know exactly what you mean about the drool landing on them.
