*sniffles* I'm listing Ambers newborn clothes on eBay, a sad moment *sniffs*

DS2 was in popper vests till he was 2, then for a while he wore swimming trunks to stop him taking the nappy off during his 'poo smearing' phase.

Tia, Molly's two days older than Amber and shockingly clingy at the moment. Perhaps it's a phase?

I hope it lasts three days and we're done with it, [STRIKE]I can't take much more of it[/STRIKE] I love it but I need to get things done that require two hands.

I was think that myself SS. Has Molly suddenly got interested in looking at things and became more alert? Amber is fine if you are willing to talk and play with her constantly, but yes, dinner takes two hands and I'm sure she would be happy to see her mummy and brothers starve to death so long as she gets our attention :D

She is busy at the moment staring intently at the play gym over her boucy chair, making attempts at whacking at it too... now she is talking to it :D

Yes Tia - we've managed to get her to bond with a soft toy so she'll hang out with Poe Dragon and chat to him so long as Mama's within grabbing distance. Last night we put her in the crib and she was enraged until she managed to get hold of Poe Dragon and put him where she could touch him easily.

She's a lot of fun actually, when I'm not desperate to pee or starving. It's good to be obviously recognised and to see her taking an interest in outside things. She woke this morning - I'd been sleeping beside her after we dropped off while lying-down-feeding at 5 or 6am - saw me and gave me this massive gummy smile. It makes it worthwhile *loves*.

    Hi,

    Not caught up yet sorry.

Keeping in touch days are now down the pan. There is 'no business case' for me to go in to work for 8 days within an almost 2 and a half year period.

Further, the work I have done whilst being away (almost 2 days of deleting nearly 1000 work related emails so my account doesn't jam and crash, and responding to various tasks which people in my dept have asked me to do while on leave) is not to be honoured and paid for.

Really unsure what this volte face is caused by, and feel vulnerable and insecure about my position in my workplace.

This has been lurking for a while and distracting me from joining in with you all so I thought I'd better explain.

Sorry if I can't be around and be myself for a little while.

Love to you all:A, Weezl x

  • weezl, I am so sorry you are upset hun, however its not just your work place that does it, due to the nature of my job, and the fact that I need to be observed and signed off as compident when I return, or have more than 6 weeks off at a time, it wouldnt be worth their time or money spending time with me for the 10 days that we are allowed as KIT days, so possibly your company is the same.
I know that wont help, but dont worry about your place at work, you have a beautiful son and a bump on the way that are far far far more important in your life at the minute, and you will have plenty of time next year to think about work then :)

My pm is free if you fancy a chat though, anytime :)
