Oh Weezl! Is there no way of appeal hun?
Would you actually be better off resigning? A drastic step perhaps but might be worthy of consideration if it makes financial sense in the short term.
I guess you would have to weigh up your chances of gaining employment when you choose to go back. But equally, how eager would you be to go back to an employer that has treated you so badly (morally if not legally).
Are you in a union? Might be worth talking to someone about your options.
I may of course be talking crapbut at least I am trying!!

em, congrats to your OH xx
We've had a fun afternoon. Went to baby clinic but then had to go to the hospital as well to get his jab done and have his blood pressure taken there cos they don't have a small enough cuff at baby clinic.
Consultant was very impressed with him. She said there is a very slight stiffness in his legs and his reflexes weren't immediate (were quick but not immediate) but she could only tell because she was really looking hard to find something wrong (and it might have just been because he was tense at the idea of her coming at him with a stick!). Everything else developmentally and movement wise is either bang on or ahead of time (bearing in mind she works on him being only 12 weeks old). She asked what we did exercise-wise and suggested we take him swimming which we were going to to anyway - just waiting for him to grow into his swim nappies!
She is slightly concerned about his weight gain, or rather the slow rate of it. Her theory on weaning is even further away than any of the nurses had told me, at six months corrected (so six months plus nine weeks), but she has said "because it's Rhys and he's hardly textbook" to start him at six months. At least I've finally got an answer and now have a month to work out what I'm doing!
No results from the MRI yet. Consultant is going to chase them tomorrow, and when I asked she said she didn't think he'd have to have another any time soon. We have to increase one medication and she's going to speak to the specialist in Notts to see if we can stop another which in turn would stop anotherHe has to have flu and swine flu jabs once he's six months too.
Rhys is now 8lb 11oz, gained 4oz in four days, and is 55cm longI think that's everything!
Ladybird, I need your help please! What do I do with fresh beetroot to make it suitable for Rhys to eat? FIL sent one over from his allotment and neither me nor OH like it, but I remember seeing Izzy lathered in it so I trust you know what to do with it!0 -
yep I think it does. I also discovered that someone has finally actioned a payment for some extra work I did back in Jan/Feb. Sounds good eh? yes, but it puts me into the category for very minimal SMP rather than full wack MA.
So today I gained £100 and lost ten grand.
Feel a bit shaky.
I know we are so lucky to have health, each other, Fergus and bump. But still- what a horrid day.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

hold that thought, i've told him he isnt allowed to take it cos its a self employed comission based job, so they dont have to pay him a basic wage! he would be selling victoria jackson make up for the first month which is shiiiiiiiiiiiite, they make £6 a box... and thats it! no thank you! he is not giving up a secure permanent job for that no matter how good the end prospects might be, we couldnt survive on my wages of £150pw for a couple of months if we needed to!!
back to the drawing board :rolleyes:Mummy to

Has Rhys been sharing his growing tips with Andrew? He's put on 6 ounces in 3 days! He's now 3lb 10oz, and is now on a 4-hourly feed cycle that matches my expressing, consuming as much as I produce (60ml) per session!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
