No Susan - I pick up super bargains throughout the year so the RRP of the gifts is generally around £40 per person but I might spend £5-10.

I did go insane on Husband this year but will be judiciously culling his gifts and using them as part of his birthday present. :rotfl:

Edit: Mooki if you're near an Ikea buy a bunch of nice A4 frames, then find a free photos offer and have them send you a bunch of pictures of Leila and then paint her hands and make handprints on one side of an A4 sheet and stick the photo to the other.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy

I cant get into christmas at the moment, when OH comes back I'm going to go through it with him and do a list.
We said we aint gonna buy eachother a pressie but I think we should get eachother something, even if it's just a novelty gift.

Quite nice to do something for each other, special home cooked meal once kids are in bed or something similar! :D

I bought him some working pen ones last year and his school friends think they are great. so he asked me to get him some more novelty ones. I just thought they were funny.

Prob the curry that Mel made us eat last night!!

    :eek:Did I miss something here:o

Well DS1 is saying he feels a lot better just headachey and sore throat, DS2 has managed to eat a few bits up to now without throwing up and says he feels a lot better today, DS3 is just a whingebag;) No, really, he has quite bad diowahwah(is that right:p) I got a phone appt with the docs and he said the milk would probably upset his tum more than solids so stick with clear fluid and small amounts of food! I forgot to ask if he is ok to go nursery tomorrow if he still has it....

My curry last night was amazing, we finished eating it and both fell asleep on the sofa within about 20mins haha, we were shattered!

MFD - I was using baby milk for porridge and weetabix too, but was this week going to swap to full-fat milk, on the FSA website it says cows milk is fine for using in food from 6mths, but does not contain enough iron to be given as main drink.....to use either usual formula or switch to follow on formula (or continue bf, obviously)

Off to town now, kids seem capable of walking haha!

Where's your curry from? Someone has recomended a take away in Little S that we should try out? But i'm not sure its worth the extra 5 minutes travelling time.

No, not at all stingy. I usually buy for about 25 people (cousins, aunties, uncles etc) but I have had to cut them all out this year and just buy for immediate family (mum, dad, hubby, brothers x 2). I used to spend between £10 and £25 per person for all 25. I would spend atleast £100 on my mum too but not this year.Leila's not getting anything from us either apart from her highchair in the January sales. If I can get away with spending £10 per person on something Leila related then even better!!

Just had to reply to this before running off.... It made me feel much better as since we had the kids we cut it right down to parents, brothers sisters and our own kids...then down to just parents and own kids.....this year it will just be our own kids, and Kai will probably get about £30 spent on him as he is too young to understand much this year plus his birthday is in march anyway so not too long to wait for more pressies....I do tend to go overboard for birthdays and christmas on the boys though, usually ££150(ish) for birthdays and £250(ish) each for christmas.
