em & Susan, Jasmine used to be sad when one of us went to work and really excited when we came home, and eventually when I was coming home from work the run and jump welcome home stopped and all I got was a 'Hi mum' and then it changed to a shout from somewhere that 'I'll see you in a minute, I'm busy playing'
So enjoy the unbearable excitement when it lasts !!The two best things I have done with my life

susan does Alice say it more on a monday? If so could it maybe be because of having you both around at the weekend, and then returning to 'normal life'? I wondered as well if because your sunday has a lot of people in it, does she maybe miss that the next day, and associate it with Daddy not being there, and therefore misses him?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

i woud enjoy it if it happened MM, but he has never once done it for me! he isnt sure of MIL cos he hasnt spent much time with her unfortunately, but when we went to see them yesterday and he cried when she held him, me and OH were stood either side and he leaned towards OH with his arms out! thats completely typical too, he never seems to want me

:j Alice just went and sat on the potty without being told. Usually if she needs it, she tells me and then I have to tell her to go and sit on the potty.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

who was it that has a driving instructor for a dad (retired i think they said) but do they know of a good name company or person in sheffield?? im in the heeley area if that helps x
Twas me - have texted my dad for you.i'm sure seth does. when OH leaves for work in the morning we have to make sure he doesnt see him walking out the front door cos he cries for a good half hour if he does, and when he comes home in the evening he gets so excited and kicks his little feet about and holds his arms out! he does the same with my nan. i'm glad i'm so exciting for him  he best do the same for me when i come home from work!
I know this feeling! Benjamin ignores me if I have been out to workhe just refuses to look at me, even if he is in my arms/sat on my lap. This even extends to if hubby has taken him out like yesterday afternoon - Benjamin refused to look at me when he came back...even having a BF looking out of the corner of his eyes at the fireplace so he wasn't looking at me!!!
If Seth has just started with separation anxiety he is probably only just starting to be aware that you are a separate person to him...if you want to feel wanted keep popping to the loo and wait for the screaming
Edit - yay Alice!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

My big DD is 9 today. (How did that happen?)
It took a while to get the DSi off her this morning and get her to school. She's requested indian takeaway for tea ().
My jobs today include decorating her cake and posting my ebay sales.:beer:0 -

angelfairy wrote: »MFD - you are right, i do mean knocking out breakfast. she seems happy with a bottle at the minute, and then she may take lunch and dinner, whereas at the minute she wont have lunch and very little at dinner. just thought of going back to square one (although not in terms of puree...keep texture and meat etc in)
You may remember i was trying to get as many calories into LO as possible and so introduced 2 snack times, well i've cut those out now as it means she eats better at meal times and snacking isn't something I really want to foster and I'd rather she ate her meals. I would try going back to two meals and see if that helps. Also, another thing we do is when she has decided she's had enough introduce the 'next' course and low and behold she has some room in her tummy again. I think she gets a bit bored and distracted for example yesterdays dinner was chicken soup, then some toast with cream cheese, then pureed fruit then a yogurt. I've tried giving her things together and letting her chose but she gets bored and confused and even picker!
moan alert (feel free to tell me to be quiet) LO can now pull herself up on all the furniture, my legs regardless of whether I am sitting or standing, the toy basket, her front of her pushalong, the cot etc. She can also cruise around the furniture. I left the room yesterday to pop the kettle on. By the time I got back (about a minute as I wasn't waiting on it boiling) she had crossed the room and pawing at the television! The room is as baby safe as we can make it but it's so exhausting. I have to take her everywhere with me and she is getting frustrated that she can't do more. We tried the travel cot as a playpen but it just ellicited screaming as did being left in her cot for 15 minutes. The weekend was ok as DH and I could take it in turns to play/watch her meaning I could at least get somethings done, but I find myself on a mad dash to do things during her naps (she's on a nap right now) which is tiring me out
All she wants to do is stand and this morning stood by herself unaided for a full 3 seconds  HELP!
congratulations agutka
sorry to the other things I've missed. Will try to do better!r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
