My weird combination is eating chocolate after a bacon buttie!
(I grew up on bacon butties on Christmas morning immediately followed by chocolate overload)Proud to be dealing with my debts

Too right! Hot toasted teacake, lots of butter, strawberry jam and slices of cheese (cold) on top..
You are minging
So how do you do yours?Or are you just in the swing of being prepared now and don't have to wait in a panic for something to defrost?
I make a meal, I freeze it in a meal-size portion
I don't really do purrees! I have some, which I defrost and add pasta to, but Benjamin eats pretty much what we eat. I only zap the meat in the food processor (obviously with something). Today he had toast soldiers and pear soldiers (he is now spitting the skin out LOL) for breakfast, last nights spag bol (whizzed up) and a fromage frais for lunch and potato, parsnip, squash and no salt gravy for dinner (followed by a jar of pudding). So all fresh stuff. I did freeze pots of roast dinner veg (no meat) but I would get them out the night before (which may be why he mostly eats fresh!!!)money_maker wrote: »OK, I'm confused are teacakes not little biscuit base buns with jam and mashmallow filling covered in chocolate ???

STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
Evening all - it's been a lovely day for us.
I'm getting worried about the looseness of our routine and Molly's refusal to sleep well though. I have to go back to work on the 2nd November, and at the moment she goes down around 10pm, wakes 1-2am then at 5-6am and is then up for the day around 8-9am. She takes naps of between 20 minutes and 2-3 hours during the day but they're not regular at all and if she doesn't get to be asleep/awake when she wants she's a monster, so we can't plan anything structured.
I'm sure we'll be fine.
The other thing I meant to say was that the fairies recently made a delivery to my parents' house and my mother is refusing to open the package so I'm not sure if the fairy package is what actually arrived IYSWIM. I'm working on it and send the fairies enormous thanks in the meantime
Edit: peanut butter goes really well on a cheese bagel. Or with some black pepper. And part of what made today so good was that I found a gourmet chocolate shop and bought a bar of plum liqueur and bacon chocolate. Will report back!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I am feeding baby more yellow foods so I can spot his turds now:rotfl::rotfl:
Actually! My baby has a real aversion to any jar with orange foodI don't use them often but when I do I end up giving him something else because he hates jars of orange stuff!!! He will eat my chilli or bolognaise which is orange after blending but not out of a jar
He really is his mothers son!! I will NEVER enjoy a bolognaise that has dolmio in it (don't tell my husband LOL) :cool:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
