Yikes! This is what I was worried about and sounds very similar to what's happening with me. I had him 2 weeks ago yesterday but the problems started about day 10 and have been getting worse, though CMWs weren't interested
OH has come back with 2 high strength antibiotics from doc and I'll see him on Monday if not better, or go back to hospital in meantime I suppose if it gets worse.
Hopefully it's not that or they will fall out themselves. When I got an ultrasound in hospital, the woman said oh we probably won't see anything, except there was about 5 chunks of placenta over 4cm in their rotting away, I still have that pic too, lol.
But please if it DOES get worse, or the smell gets stronger, please go straight to hospital, because the pain I was in when it hit me was excruciating, I was literally rolling around my bedroom screaming, my mum phoned nhs direct and I wasn't even coherant, I had to be blue lighted to hospital. Didn't let me take Keira in with me either!0 -

i will tryespecially as my hair is in desperate need of a cut and colour. not very MSE but i think i'm getting in dyed in the salon because i just do not have the hour it takes to do it yourself.

Agutka - have you tried a medicine syringe? I think one comes with the baby neurophen.angelfairy wrote: »MFD - you are right, i do mean knocking out breakfast. she seems happy with a bottle at the minute, and then she may take lunch and dinner, whereas at the minute she wont have lunch and very little at dinner. just thought of going back to square one (although not in terms of puree...keep texture and meat etc in)
Breakfast is the most important meal though...does that rule apply for babies too? I would check with HV before you do. You wouldn't want to take out the only meal that she is actually eating at IYSWIM. If she like breakfast stuff have you tried giving her porridge or weetabix for other meals?
If she likes sweet stuff there are some AK recipes that include sweet things (BN Squash and Pear springs to mind).I won't even begin to tell you!
I will sit here and silently carry on with my ironing!

I do'nt think you are bad to say that. I think the same probably applies to most of us. I knew it would be hard to go back to work, but not how hardI have to say that the actual going back has been far better than I expected it to be, but the build up was horrible
I still get upset about having to go back full time, but my rational bit of my brain is telling me that the actual event won't be so bad when I get to it either. Now I just need to learn to listen to the rational bit of me!
And MFD, that is adorable. I wish I got kisses. I do get ducks put in my mouth. She thinks because she likes to eat them I want to as well :rotfl:. She is starting to try and put them on the top of my head too (I balance them there sometimes, the pretend I don't know where they have gone... the things we do to amuse our babies!)Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

If Tom doesn't want his paracetamol he won't take it, not even out of the syringe but it's worth a try. We get very gloopy too. Even if only a little goes down it seems to do something though.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

I know I'm never here anymore, but I have much napping to catch up on when Himself is asleep (pregnant again), so never on the computer anymore.
But. A few weeks ago he was teething and after one dose of calpol he refused to have any more drugs, so suffered for four or five days. But now he's ill, hacking cough and now a fever. And refusing any medication. Forcing him just gets us all covered in gloop. How can I give him medicine?? He's like a furnace right now, bless him, and I don't like it.
PS - Hi everyone
Oh did I miss this?? When are you due?? Congrats

Agutka - are you using a medicine spoon? Have you tried him with a medicine syringe? From being little to only recently that was the only way DD would take anything as it just went straight down her throat.
Congratulations on your BFP.
